Make the ding dong breaching tool open doors

Whats the point of having a nice solid melee weapon if it cant open doors for you? (especially if its called a breaching tool.)

I feel that the Ding Dong Breaching tool should be able to smash open doors with a few hits, but only the doors that can be shot open.
