I like it
I'd replace the regular sniper with something else (since we basically already have a typical hunting rifle in the form of the Platypus 70). I'd go with either a shotgun or perhaps a compound bow myself.
Not sure if I like the inability to put a scope on it though. Having less than half the magazine size should be enough of a downside to make it a feasible sidegrade-- neutering a Sniper Rifle's feasibly at range is one hell of a downside (the Repeater at least has an exclusive scope to make up for not having any of the others). Iron sights by default is fine, but not being able to put ANY scope on it at all is... a bit much.
Well i am not sure how would you fit one of the available ingame scopes on this 2 barreled big game rifle.
But yea maybe an exclusive scope or sight would work like the repeater one.
Special scopes exist for those types of rifles and it wouldn't look as silly as for example putting one of the Gage Sniper pack scopes on it.
Is overkill gonna break the meta again? lenny
