What gun do you want in PD2?

If I could vote for a weapon to appear in PD2 I would prefer the XM8 Assault Rifle variant. Just because, no real reason. It looks cool to me.

Possibly, or the PKP "Pecheneg". It'd make a good counterpart to the RPK.

I also mentioned the Ultimax-100 earlier, which would be quite different from existing LMGs (high accuracy, high damage, low ROF for a weapon of its type, meaning Surefire + Body Expertise isn't necessary for engaging targets at a distance)

I'd like to see a 37mm flare launcher as a free GL variant, a hunting crossbow for a free bow, and maybe the LeMat revolver as a sort of secondary Little Friend-lite: 5 or 6 shots of a powerful revolver, and then press 4 to switch off to a powerful shotgun blast

Hope you like the Peacekeeper's reload, because that's how a LeMatt would reload. I'd prefer something like an HK416 with a KAC Masterkey (basically a cut-down Remington R870 with a three shot mag plus one in the chamber). What you'd end up with is basically a slightly better non-DMR CAR-4 with a less accurate, lower ammo capacity Reinfeld attached to it. Maybe not the best option to work with, but not a bad choice for pairing up with more specialized secondaries (like a saw or one of the rocket launchers).

Yeah, the Thanatos already fills the niche of an anti-materiel BFG. I think the way to go with unique sniper rifles would be to focus more on the lower end of the damage spectrum, one possible addition being the SVU-A, the select-fire variant of the SVU. What you'd end up with is basically an M308 (select fire and a ten-round magazine) that would sacrifice damage (120 as opposed to 160, putting it on par with the heavier LMGs) in exchange for AP capability. This would also basically let it replace the now nerfed 5/7 AP in some builds, armor builds in particular.

Yep, that's the one. The only auto pistol in the game.

The Glock 17 is the Chimano 88, the starting pistol.
