Streetsweeper Shotgun
I like shotguns. easy to play. not hard to master. I like every shotgun in the game. BUT I think OVK should work on the streetsweeper (some know it buy the name DAO 12 G).
It works with a spring that makes its spin through the bullets. In Payday there is literally no reload animation. you simply plug in the bullets. If the "magazine" is empty, you just put in new shells. without anything else.
personally I dont think it big of a deal. But I like critizing the details.
Basically there is no punishment for emptying the mag. If you shoot your predator down to 0 shells you need to put one bag in the chamber and then you can shoot again.

criticism on a high level.

DAO 12 is not even the real life name of the Street sweeper shotgun we have in game, which instead it's a mix-match of the Cobray Street Sweeper and the Armsel Protecta. The latter, did not require the "wind up key" to reload. Instead,it uses the Bodeo system (basically, the trigger gets disconnected from the hammer through a lever, and the cylinder is rotated by pulling the trigger as if shooting)
Also,if it were to have the wind up key reload, the Street sweeper would have a dramatically longer reload, which would ♥♥♥♥ its balancement even more

Every shotgun requires to have a shell in the chamber before shooting, and, while it would be preferable to put the first shell straight in the chamber during an empty reload,it's not wrong to reload every shell from the feeding port below and then racking the pump/bolt handle. So the current animations aren't exactly wrong

I really cannot fault Overkill over the game functional design of the gun. If they stayed true to life to the real life counter part would make the gun very undesirable compared to other guns. Watch the videos below to see what I am talking about.

Protecta was a better version with shell ejection after each shot, but you would still have to worry about the winding up the cylinder.

P.S. This gun does not use a magazine, but a cylinder more like a single action army revolver.

Edit: Found another version of this gun moving the cylinder without winding it, by simply moving the foregrip to the side.
