Official Mod Guide
EDIT 06/21/2016:
The recent deluxe update doesn't have full mod support just yet, I'm going to get a patch out and some new documentation soon. You should still be able to use mods in legacy, though.

Hey all, I've just added the official Modding guide to the "Guides" section. It's a work in progress, but has a lot of good info already.

I'm constantly juggling tasks, so if any of you have requests for what documentation I should work on next to aid your modding endeavors, just let me know. I'll also be adding Workshop integration in a future patch. Hopefully we can get a bit of a modding community off the ground! :)

Awesome news. Really like the game and Workshop support is a great feature.
Oh god. I was already completely HOOKED to the vanilla game. If mods are supported I'm never gonna stop playing.

Just FYI: even though Steam Workshop isn't set up, mods are working right this minute. There's probably some glitches here and there I need to work out, and the documentation still needs work, but it's basically ready to go!

Give me a few more weeks and I should have it stable, documented, and hooked up to Steam Workshop.

Thanks for the guide. Might look into this for tweaking the enemy balance for the last battle in NG+ Extreme -- I think I'm spent almost 10 out of the 40 total hours I've put into the game trying to win that fight and it's not happening.

Such a fun game. Really pleased you've added mod support. Hopefully this will mean we keep playing for some time to come.
Just made my first mod, just some simple wave and map edits, it's really easy to mod this game!

To be honest, I think that this will be the first game that I mod. I haven't checked out the guide yet but I will once I beat my first play-through(busy getting the extra stars).

This game was well worth the five dollars I spent on it and I would have paid full price if I had known how good it was. :D

This game was totaly worth the money. I hope you get this started soon, so i can go on playing. I have beaten the game and the game+ :)

Same question, possible to have more than 1 mod, because a lot of mods are addable.
Exemple : news items + news attacks + Level cap at 150 + Dragon's stuff etc etc.

I'm sorry there's no official support for combining mods other than to do it "by hand", ie, adding the files together yourself.

In the sequel we might add better support for this sort of thing.

Dear Dev- the guide is fantastic- except, BIG THING HERE- there is no local queue option. As of 1.1.46, I can not get a single mod to load. D:

@Fannish -- sorry to hear that. Can you give me some more details?
1) OS, system, etc
2) Are you able to use workshop features in other games?
