I've seen this going around a lot lately. I really with Henry C. would break the silence on this but I doubt he will in his current position.
It is probably because Sanguinius at the time didn't know SoS or anything else in truth. And since SoS wear intricate golden auramite armour too, well here you go.
And being a Primarch i guess have its own advantages in being tough against nulls. I mean, the Emperor is a psyker and he keeps them always by his side. But i suggest you to read it anyway.
Imperial Knights are cool, i have myself one too as support in Apocalypse games. I will probably add a Cerastus Lancer for the Custodes, since it is very thematic with them.
I have seen this, but it comes from 4chan, so huge grain of salt here.
Cavill now is the true first Mister of Silence ahah! I do not envy him right now..
Well yeah, Papa G is one of if not the strongest psyker around. Sanguinis may be a primarch, but he's also not the strongest psyker even amongst the primarchs. That's why I feel it's vague as the author seems to have a decent grasp on leaving behind clues as to who's who, and then outright stating who is who. And the reason you provided of "he didn't know about these" would be the perfect reminder an author could use of who the Sisters of Silence are, and how effective they are. Some crap about how members of the landing party caused a brief sense of unease that he quickly tried pushing aside or something like that
And yeah, they're fun! I have two regular knights, Lady Rosario and Duchess Regalia are their pilots. And then a death guard knight that's infected by the flood from Halo. I also got two lil armiger's. Cute fellas
Relying on pure speculation and all that jazz is about as filling as a single saltine
"This mess was caused because of the ambitions of Amazon to have a buffed female custodes in the show. So they needed this background changed
GW tried to push for sororitas, but Amazon thought that religion was a big no-no. Also sisters of silence weren't truly disabled, just mute voluntarily, so nope again
Henry Cavill, supossedly, was threatening to leave the show because of all this
From the internal side of GW, the community management was horribly managed and some people are on thin ice
The female custodes probably will never be mentioned again, and will stay as a "rumor" in that codex, but will never materialize anywhere. You know, all is canon, even Slaanesh being Santa"
This is the full rumor. I didn't write this, simply copy pasted from reddit.
That's, an interesting rumor. Why would Amazon say no to religion when they've had it in their other media? Brotherhood of Steel in Fallout having some very religious feelin stuff goin on for example. And why would the not being disabled play a role with the Sisters of Silence? I assume this is to fall under the belief that all Amazon shows have to have a strong muscle woman, disabled characters, and probably some other stuff on top of that
This seems like a rather odd one myself that doesn't have much basis other than "just trust me" goin on. I guess all there is to do is just wait around and see what happens. (Also I want to say my questions aren't pointed at you, more just a general "wtf is this rumor?") type deal
Though I will say, I do kinda hope this codex update does add women's heads to the Custodes. Simply because it means model refresh and we could have naturally true scale
Sanguinius powers stops at some little premonition, and it is not even willingly. They are just dreams. So i guess beside being slightly unconfortable (if the sisters were strong enough) he would feel close to nothing. Even the Grey Knights, in the Second Siege of Lion's Gate, fought with the SoS side by side, and beside not being able to cast any psichic powers, they were doing just fine. They were uncomfortable sure, but they fought just fine. So i belive that Sanguinius would have felt little to nothing beside them, that is my take on the matter. Guilliman have fought against Magnus on the Moon with the SoS beside him and felt nothing (nulls have effect even to non psykers, but lesser) so i bet for Sanguinius was the same.
Forgive me for all of this wall of text, but since you said that you know little i have shared some lore to give you better context on the topic.
2 days ago on reddit, the original post i don't know.
Remember they're 1st responsibility is to the shareholders
Archcast have found the original post on 4chan:

Timestamp 5:20.
Again, it is 4chan, so a sea of salt!
Yeah I took a look at the original 4chan post. It literally says "My uncle works at Nintendo" at the end
They just made some high quality bait lmao
As far as I know, ain't his wings also a lil magic? But yeah, my overall guessing is that the author knows how to specifically call out factions and would have left a hint on if the initial landing party had any SoS just by giving Sanguinis some unease or something as a nod to SoS enjoyers. I read it as the landing party has men and women as the custodes, and you read it differently which is a-okay
No, he's just a plain old mutant XD. Mutated by the warp of course, but they are "biological".
