There arent any good guys in the galaxy, the only ones that would come even close to being good guys are the Cabal.
I allow you to believe that, Mon-keigh.
It being absolute clickbait does the rest to ensure i won't ever click on that.
To be fair, Weshammer is a good boy, he has some good lore videos for people to start with the franchise.
was just about to say we have a heretic on our hands lol. The codex does not approve of his message.
The question is clickbait and objectively there is no argument to could possibly be made if they could be the good guys, which makes the question farcical.
Given that you blame me for reading comprehension, i would return the favor, as i believe i was quite clear on that in my initial post.
Don't care what the video explains. The question is nonsense. There is not a sliver of possibility to even entertain the question as legit. It is entirely clickbait at best, and at worst a defense of the worst on a level like "Was the My Lai massacre a good thing?"
Slaanesh says hello. Slaanesh is also, AFAIK, the only Chaos God which we actually have a source for.
Khorne, Nurgle and Tzeentch "awakening" to sapience during the Middle Ages is a 1st Edition thing from the Realm of Chaos book series, before the Reboot that turned 40k into what it is today. That is some outdated 1st Edition lore you are pandering there.
And if that is from the video, then it is worse than i expected it to be.
https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Realm_of_Chaos
Realm of Chaos books were superceeded by the Liber Chaotica about a decade later. And as it so happens i have both of them on my Shelf and the Liber Chaotica ascribes the creation of Khorne the "Norsemen" and not any Norsemen but the Warhammer Fantasy Norsemen (it also references other Chaos serving groups in WHF, like the Kurgan)... as the Book was released when Warhammer Fantasy still existed in the Warhammer 40k universe. This is no longer the case today.
Which means, based on the best information we have right now... either Khorne was created by some Humanoid Alien Race that are similar to Humans, but not quite (they most certainly weren't created by anyone living on Earth), or we don't know who or what created him.
And it is the same for the other 2 gods. The only Major God for which we still have a definite creation myth is Slaanesh and she was created by the Eldar.
Now, the Eldar attribute the existence of the Chaos Gods to the Humans, as their emotions fuel the Warp with the Energies they need to subsist, but i am unaware of any official source material that actually has up to date, non retconned information on the creation of the other 3 Chaos Gods.
Mind you, it is possible i am unaware of that, and if so... i would welcome a source. Not a video of some rando trying to make a buck on youtube by selling any scrap of lore they can find, no matter how non-cannon they are... and also not some licensed product like a Black Library Novel, where i would need to accept that C.S. Goto's work is cannon.. or the Dawn of War Novels with their Gaunts that are immune to Bolter rounds.... no, i mean an actual book published by Gamesworkshop proper, or at the very least a White Dwarf Issue.
Or... in short.. TL;DR: Citation needed.
Brother, fetch me the flamer, the HEAVY flamer.
