Thousand Sons are kinda OP
Is it just me or dose it feel like a boss fight every time you fight one of the Thousand Sons on any difficulty really also it feels like when a group of them spawns on a mission its game over, i feel like playing against the tyranids is alot more balanced and enjoyable making me not even want too play the missions involving the Thousand Sons,i think they need to balance them a bit more, Thousand Sons terminator is a match ruin-er for newer players it might just be me but they feel really unbalanced sponging dmg just to get hit twice and insta downed :/.

what i hate more are those little unimportant sniper dudes that take out all 3 armor and then some more health. CSM are also very annoying for melee by teleporting around.

but what's more egregious is when we execute them there is absolutely no gore. it's just like destroying dummy armor, so unsatisfying

Well in lore there made from sand because of something to do with the warp thats why theres no blood/gore but the basic snipers are also a bit much in that game mode too there DMG is way too high.

Agreed that the little cultists having a gun that's on par with a las fusil seems a little overtuned, but yeah, wrt the Thousand Sons, the basic trooper Space Marines of that legion were cursed with something called the Flesh Change, and when they were chased into the Eye of Terror, it was threatening to consume and collapse the entire legion, so the sorceror Ahriman cast a major spell that was meant to halt it.

It did, but with the unfortunate side-effect that every non-psyker in the legion turned to warp dust in their armor, essentially becoming unthinking automatons locked forever in their armor. They're in a way like the undead armies of a lich, only capable of movement at the direction of their Chaos Sorceror overlords.

Despite being servants of a god of backstabbing, the Thousand Sons sorcerors are constantly on the lookout for a cure, as the Thousand Sons are still an Astartes legion, and the bonds of brotherhood are still, to some degree, there.

Doesn't help they blend into the background and are all over the place. The one operation where you go down the elevator my entire team got sniped because there were so many of them poking at us while the a squad of CSM and a terminator was tossing us around.

From my perspective on playing with randoms vs playing with friends - they are gate check for who actually learned how to fight them.

You can't approach them the same way you do nids, its not going to work and they'll destroy you.

They are easier to melee than nid elites lol.

Bet you're real fun at parties. You like ultramarines and white bread too?

You are fighting Space Marines heavily corrupted by Chaos and The Warp. Did you expect them to be easy?

This is actually the answer. They take a different approach to fight for sure. Krak is king.

So how do you fight them? Dodging doesn't work becausae the volume of fire is too big.

On Fall of Atreus in the tunnels there is no cover. Tzaangors tarpit , flamethrowers flamethrow and rubrics shoot and the traitor guardsmen shoot.
Literally no way to avoid damage unless you have a heavy with the shield.
Too much damage from all sides.
Just met them on the third operation mission, they're really not fun, not well designed, just all around annoying to fight.
Is there only 2 Tyrannid mission in operations?

Start with reversing your idea on combat from elite targeting to little wiping. Wipe them out before you start moving on the crowd of gunners. Usually nades or some other aoe even melee. Keep your shield up gun strike. Kraks will down any elite in one shot but with limitations melee is your best option. Move in and get them in melee learn the combos and move as needed. Range damage reductions are nice specially on items like the knife with using lights. Master your weapons. If you have something like a sorc up you need to take them out they will make more. Terminators learn the parry. Gun strikes are your best option on them.
