There is offline progression totally.
But, when you connect your game back to their servers it will reset your progress to match the cloud. *ahem* There ARE ways around this of course.
I basically have one folder for the game that is for modding the heck out of it, and one folder for when my friends wanna play Co-Op with me. My modding folder never goes online, so my progress is saved on my PC, always. It's actually very nice to be able to play a game totally offline and progress.
Also, try my simple mod out for more Grimdark fun if you wanna play alone. :)

I have another personal mod that increases enemy spawns by x4, increases damage done and taken by x2, expands the bot companions to 6, also damage dealt by player and NPCs by x2, along with other cool things. But you'd have to contact me on discord for that, because it's not a mod for online play. :D
Might try reading what you click yes to in future
and you only unlock skins so what is it you are on about
Also with stuff like achievements, leaderboards etc. cheating in single player also can affect others.
Well, I was also disappointed when I heard there would be no offline progression, I'm glad they implemented it in SOME way though.
I also like to mod the heck out of my games, and don't care very much for online play. Unless it's with my friends or family. Mostly because of people like these guys responding to you telling you how you don't have a right to the thing you paid good money for. LOL
This is why I make sure to actually OWN my game, by any means necessary.
There's a cool modding discord channel where you can learn how to mod the game yourself and download other mods from people.

The way you insult, are rude to others and the developers says a lot about you and your "I only cheat in singleplayer".
Then we got someone 'LOL'ing at us when one look at their profile is rather an awkward situation for them.
Now I think we are done especially considering you can't seem to construct a civil post.
