Weapon Experience Stuck

I think this is a bug? My weapon experience, for example on the multi-melta, won't increase past 1300 (you need 1500 for the green quality one). I have mastery on it, and the perk point spent, but it simply won't increase, no matter how many missions I go on, and I can't buy the next rank either. Has anyone had this happen to them?

XP sits at 6480 after next mission completion (was a mission failure, so XP still gets added even on mission loss). 400 XP on a level 2 mission. That's one hell of a grind. No wonder it seems like nothing is leveling up properly

Right, I get that. But I have the situation where the Mastery for each weapon within the Tier was advanced using the XP Purchase. Now the Overall Bar for that Tier is not moving, nor is it shown as gaining XP at the end of mission where its used.

Correct. I was also under the same assumption. Take a look at the [weapon name] Exp. ####/##### number amount from mission to mission. It should be increasing slowly over time.

However I still think there's a bug associated with the unlocked weapon variants that have their XP maxed by equipment purchase (using the green/purple/gold tokens) where the XP for those weapon unlocks/mastery is not being properly applied. For example:

My Heavy boltor has all 4 weapons unlocked and mastered for Standard and master-crafted tiers. An XP value that *should* equal 6,700. However my CURRENT Heavy Bolter Exp. sits at 6480/28600.

So is your weapon actually gaining any XP?

Yeah, XP is increasing. 7500 on the dot now actually.

Im having the problem with the combat knife, mastered both of the green and the xp is stuck halfway done, just trying have a cool looking knife for my sniper and vanguard and this bug is killing me

I ended up switching class and warning people on sight about not skipping progression on items.

I had the same problem, I was able to upgrade my weapon after finishing the next tier difficulty.

I have the same problem with the bolt pistol. I'm stuck at artificer. It shows me as missing half the bar of xp but i've gone back though and used every tier of it in multiple missions. The xp bar just refuses to move up. I only used material to rush 1 of them and ive used it multiple times since then just to make sure i maxed out its xp to no avail.

FYI I had this, I did a run on max difficulty and its sorted it out. I was stuck on Green, then afterwards it allowed me to upgrade.

This is a very stupid mechanic, and a stupid bug. All my weapons are well behind and I don't think I can be bothered to play THAT many missions just to level one stupid gun.

Can I get a refund as this bug has ruined my progression and made me not want to continue the game?

I played my first operation and my heavy bolter didnt get any xp at all, the bolt pistol did.
