Not in this lifetime.
But good luck with your endeavour (no sarcasm).
"Heretic Astartes characters can also be customized for your PvP matches! Each class corresponds to a specific Traitor Legion (for example, Assault will always be represented by a Night Lords Raptor), but you can change the colours and apply different emblems."
And thinking you can't customize heretic astartes. You can absolutely change their color and emblems and in all but name be any traitor legion or hell, you could paint your heretics like ultrasmurfs. There is nothing in here that says you can't change their armor as well.
basically what you're saying is:
"oh you want to play a world eater but also want to play bulwark? well just change the color and add an emblem" you know damn well its not the same thing. You wont have the we korn helm, skulls or anything else that makes we a distinct legion. You are advocating for lazy development with less features and stand to gain nothing from it.
imagine them saying if you want to play salamanders you have to play assault because salamanders is the assault class. Same thing, makes 0 sense.
At least there's the possibility that the Chaos classes will receive more templates but it's lame either way if one side has worse customization for whatever arbitrary reason.
"When the debate is lost, slander becomes the tool of the losers." ~Socrates.
You dont make any sense.
People don't play campaigns more than a couple times on average.
In the current gaming market, a huge amount of revenue comes from customization sales
for the longevity of a game's support, it needs consistent income, which is made through cosmetic sales
think about this. Halo, cod, gears. What do they all have in common?
they all had a campaign which people loved but beat maybe once or twice but played the multiplayer for YEARS
you also cant have a competitive scene around just a campaign dude.
why is fort nite the most played game in the world?... its not for the campaign. Same for minecraft.. But what do they both have for their multiplayer modes? Cosmetic sales. Think.
Why do fanboys always ask about Chaos Marines? It's just annoying and disruptive. This is what makes the game look bad.
PvP mode is just an additional mode, damn it. Hell Driver 2 doesn't have PvP; it only has PvE and continues to receive major updates and events regularly.
SP2 is launching as a live service game similar to Hell Driver 2, which focuses primarily on PvE. You can see this from the PvP mode with 6v6 players. And yes, it's not a game focused on selling itself as an FPS. If you’re looking to buy a game for FPS, I think this one might not be suitable for you. Confused fanboys
What you should be asking isn’t about PvP; it’s not about the marketing of SP2. It’s about PvE live service like Hell Divers 2. You should be asking whether, when the game is released, the roadmap and development plans will be timely and meet players' expectations. Will there be timely updates, fixes, and new maps without the money-grubbing behavior like EA? That’s what you should be asking.
I think it will come. I remember SM1 which had good customisation for its time and PC capabilities and the multiplayer bit lasted a long time so I think this will happen here. In the end they can't do everything at launch so we will see. My bet is that Chaos stuff will come as part of season passes later down the line with the goal in my view of keeping this going as long as possible.
imo - best way to support this is buy the game and play it. Encourage it to be a success and the rest will follow. The game is the game at this point and whilst I would encourage you to spend your money as to how you see fit holding your cash back in some kind of protest is somewhat futile and actually strangles what you are hoping to achieve but as I said and believe, that's your call.
