IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT THE OPEN BETA OF WARHAMMER 40,000: SPACE MARINE 2

Dear player,
You have created a beta account and shown interest in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 in our closed beta testing space.

Space Marine 2 is almost ready. Our teams at Focus and Saber have been truly blown away by your passion, and excitement for the game! We are now entirely focused on optimization, polish and fixing remaining issues ahead of the launch on September 9. This means we will not run a public online beta, as it would take the development teams away from preparing for the full launch, and our priority is to ensure the best possible experience at release.

We know this is disappointing news for some of you. As a thank you to those interested in participating, if you registered via the online signup before June 28, 2024 (midnight, Paris Time), you will receive the Bolt Pistol Skin below as a subscription gift. The code for the skin will be sent to you on October 1st, 2024. We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we work towards delivering the exceptional game you deserve.

Wait we are meant to get an email about it? I checked my email right now, I can see an email from 7th Sept 2023 that confirms my application for the beta but I dont really see any other email sent from Focus Entertainment

I got the email, i signed up on June 28th, so that email may not mean anything.

It might have been put into the promotions or trash folder if you have that set up.

I got an email yesterday from Focus Entertainment, telling me to sign up for the Beta by Jun 28th 2024.

I signed up for the Closed Beta when it was first announced in 2023... Looks like I won't be getting that pistol skin.

Pretty sure the game is going to run like poop on release, since they arent allowing us to preview the performance.

Just wanted to post an update. They mentioned "Hello, the Bolter Skin is indeed limited but not exclusive, which means that players will get one more chance to get it. We will give more info about this when the time comes."

So this is awesome news and to quote LOTR: "Looks like skins are back on the menu, boys!"

Happy to see that. A pet peeve of mine is seeing that forever grayed or locked item in games as i do not have a time machine.
