Discrimanatory, racist and disgusting comments made by an employee

I don't often discuss this stuff because its vitriol and hate spread by perpetually online weirdos who do not deserve the attention they crave. However , In this case, this is direct rather extreme racist and discriminatory views presented by someone who represents a product I was looking to buy.

I was incredibly disappointed after a friend of mine sends me a screenshot to my phone of one of the people involved with this game being openly discriminatory and racist about regular people like myself.

That makes me incredibly uncomfortable about purchasing a product from a company that employs people who dislike or hate me for something I have no control over with large discriminatory generalisations whilst being openly racist and on top of that if you were to swap what was said to any other group of people they would be raked over the coals and lose their jobs and be socially crucified, not to mention some countries now jail people for that kind of rhetoric.

Its incredibly damaging rhetoric and I have removed the game from wish list and will not be buying and products from this company in the future until people like this are removed en mass.

I hope the company makes the right decision and gets rid of people like this and look to have people represent them who just enjoy the IP and games like myself.

I have to agree with most of what you said here. I was pretty much neutral in all of this as I was never invested in the lore. Mainly just playing 40K games with my gaming buddies and having a good time. Now I feel like I'm being personally attacked merely for being a "cis white male" even though I'm just someone that was really looking forward to Space Marine 2.

I don't see how GW can possibly say that 40K is for everyone and that they won't tolerate racism/discrimination etc, when they are literally displaying the exact opposite stance (with allowing their head writer of all people to write such hate speech) and alienating even people like me that had no leaning to either side.

I feel more like I'm trapped in a new war zone now than a place where I can go to have fun and escape reality for a few hours.

Aren't most of these comments that are being dragged up from 2018? I just don't think the way to move forward is to start trying to cancel people back for comments they made on twitter. If the game is good and it is well written, that is all that matters. If it sucks and it is badly written then Fat shark did a bad job of recruiting.

Noble of you, but that doesn't fly with me anymore, especially for a person like Ashley. Because people like her (or him?) would do exactly the same and would go even a step further, I saw enough examples where it occurred. Apart from the animosity, (s)he was part of the Gothan Knight writing staff, and ho boy, it was utter trash.

Oh yeh and sry for the Ackchyually, but it is devolped by Saber interactive, not Fatshark :-)
