Also, you lose a bunch of stats by having the same chip on both weapons; unequipped chips contribute stats equal to their "Analysis" that caps out at 25% while the equipped chips give 100%.
Easter Roll doesn't really need Batton because she has such absurd amounts of healing already, and it especially doesn't do anything in boss fights. And also I don't think it stacks unless you use different star levels of card?
Start with armor by doing the armor event stage to get resources to get and upgrade what you have. You should at least have purple armor less than 10 levels from what your character is. So if you are level 53, your armor should be at least level 50. That armor can also be upgraded, and those upgrades are permanent and stay with any armor you wear. So say, you have level 50 armor and you upgraded it all the way to +50, when you wear the level 50 armor, it will be +50 too.
Next is weapons and your character skills. Both are similar in that you will want to rank them to 5 stars. Weapons also have a separate level to put resources to, and an upgrade feature that lets you add more attack power, HP, crit and other stats. Both characters and weapons also have skills you have to upgrade as well.
Another upgrade path is through cards. Not only do they give you some small buffs, but if you level them up, they will give you better stats as well.
It may all seem daunting at first, but as you get the hang of how to upgrade, you will find it easier to do.
Quickest way to jump power is boosting armor or leveling Dive Triggers.
I didn't even know that about analysis though. What an amazingly grindy game.
