Why are the enemies killing me so easily?
Seriously, I unload a whole clip as a Medic (terrible accuracy...), and their armor hasn't even been damaged. The enemy just takes 2 seconds to shoot me at 100% accuracy. Why is it so hard to shoot? Is it just my gun, or am I being matched up with elite players who have the best of everything? And don't tell me I'm just bad at the game, I've played FPS games for a long time.

The odds are you are just coming across better players who understand the way the gun recoil and speed is so there able to kill you as you do little.

It takes time but once you get the hang of how the guns work and feel you will become better.
First of all, the word you're looking for is mag, not clip. Second of all, slamming the trigger isn't going to improve your accuracy. Bullets don't do damage if they don't hit their target. Also, it pays to aim for the head in CQC.
there is only one way the enemy can kill you as inafntry in an unusual period of time

bolt-action sniper in your head
pump action shotgun from close

there really aren't infantry OP weaponry, the weapon i use as medic is the one you're given from the beginning and i still use it for it's diversity. sure you could buy weapons, but they specialize in certain areas, and i hate it when my guns don't have versitality.

I suggest aiming at the head or belly, else prepare to be outmatched by their accuracy. a normal gun needs 3-4 shots in the head and 7-8 in the chest.
The thing is, the guns are different from any other FPS, it took me about a month to shake off my old boots from BF2 and now I perfom really nicely agaisnt anyone. Without even buying a thing! Remeber: Practice is the key, as in any FPS.

Mag instead of clip??? It matters to you? I think it was clear what he was saying. And I didn’t see anything about “slamming the trigger”(mouse in case you like that word better). Your advice about going for head shots is right on.
If you were taking fire from multiple enemys, and the person who killed you was not the person you were shooting at, I think it shows the killers health which could explain why it was still full.
Accuracy and trigger control is the key to 1 on 1 encounters. You're most likely dropping so easily because the people you're up against have been playing for awhile and know how to handle their weapons of choice better.

At anything other than point blank range (especially as a medic) use your iron sights and burst fire to stay on target. Each gun handles differently, some you can burst fire quickly, others you want to slow things down a bit. Almost all medic guns (assault rifles) are meant for mid/long range, which is why you need to make use of your iron sights and birst fire.

Once again though, up close feel free to go full auto from the hip if you want to or have to maintain your mobility. However its still best to use iron sights. In close quarters you can just aim for their head (iron sights) and go full auto, whoever lands the most shots first wins.

Also some classes are just easier to kill than others. One on one in a close quarters battle, you as a medic vs a heavy assault, chances are the HA will win due to more health and their class skills are all about helping them survive.

Edit to add: As mentioned by Pyrohawk above, chances are you're also taking shots from multiple enemies at once.

PS2 has had notorious problems with aim botters as well.
Also, your enemies probably grinded or $ bought better weapons than you. This game has no match making, so there is zero balancing.

I feared that. I hoped that I would be matched with beginners who haven't paid a cent on this game, but I am instead matched with elites that have sharply unbalanced weapons.

Too bad it doesn't show where the enemies were.

There aren't really weapons that fall into that area of being unbalanced. The only thing that might make their guns better than yours are cert upgrades.

I do not agree. If someone is close range, many weapons can take you out in 1-2 secs if you know how to hit the head with your weapon of choice.

Personally I like the SMG Sirius. It has the advanced laser available for it, which is awesome for close combat. It essentially makes your weapon hit the target way more when firing from the hip, it has kinda low damage, but aim at the head and the large blazing speed salvo from a 50 round mag is nice.
What faction are you playing as? If you are new to the game, I would reccommend playing as the New Conglomerate.
I'm new on PS2 and FPS games.
Never try COD, BF or something.
I'm playing for 2 or 3 days and i'm almost with 20 hours gameplay, character level 6.
I really don't know if leveling grants more accuracy, but things are getting better.
The first day was a nightmare, but i still missing close range shots with machine guns.

I'm doing better with Heavy Assault class, cause better armor minimize the lack of abilities, and i hit better of course with missile launcher and vanguard tank. But i ever try to make hidding shots.

Well, ok, i like infiltrator class, but i think is not the time to run trough it.
