Lag is annoying

I go on PlanetSide 2 and lag. I ask teamates for help and solutions. No awnser I just got a new computer and I really want this to work out for me please help me.

Start by giving us some system specs? I use a i7 2600 @ 3.4ghz, 16 gigs of ram, gtx 570 and I experience no lag at all.

Well im new to computer but I have an HP Windows 8 I dont have money for ram if it costs anything. And i have downloaded things that help other people but not me.

Yup unfortunately for some this game suffers from severe lag.
Having 24 hours on the Steam client i can honestly say i have only had about 20-30% of that time without lag.
When i say lag i mean not usual lag but lag of 30-50 second delays in everything i do.
I see that most people do not suffer lag in this game but there are some that do.

I have captured many many clips of extreme lag with Fraps, i usually start off on a game with bad lag that gets so bad and the client ends up kicking me from server.
I have no lag in any other game and my line is good enough, i host TF2 MVM servers on regular basis with zero lag.

My system is i7-930@4.4Ghz 16GB Vengeance GTX480 SLi Corsair HX1000 and many raid arrays, also X-Fi soundcard.

Im very sure my rig can play this game at decent settings so i know its not an issue with my rig.
Its no doubt a problem with the servers.

Like i say, most people appear to be suffering no problem but there is deffeinetly some people suffering very bad. I have 2 rigs here side by side and you would laugh if you could see some of the scenarios with have here with this game, my son will die in game and this will not show on my monitor for anything up to 50-60 seconds, pretty funny when hes still sat in my tank shooting but is actually dead,lmao.

Im sure this will be resolved in the end and i cant wait because im really in love with this game big time, so is my son and despite the really bad issues with experience we still keep trying to play. Until its sorted i wont be able to drop cash on in game items, i just dont feel good about spending cash on something thats broken.

Like i say i have some clips of this lag and i will upload more when i can be bothered, you will see what im talking of, its pretty annoying when your getting shot and cant get out of a turret for 20-30 seconds.

well I just found DataRam and I heard that helps I downloaded the free version and Redownloading the game so I advise to see if you can use it at

What exactly are you going to do with a RamDisk of <4GB?
Cant load a 10GB game from a 4GB disk.

If anything use FancyCache ( free ATM as its in Beta) on the drive you load the game from, helps when constantly reloading the same blocks of data.

Anywa, im uploading 5 clips to my Youtube channel that clearly show some issues with PlanetSide 2 Lag, textures missing and other various issues with the game.
