Currently, we have only two options for displaying icons/names, and that's see-all or see-none.

I'd like an option where I can see only the blue arrows over allies' heads (or green for squad/platoon) and not their entire names, which blocks so much of my vision. If I turn it off, I no longer have easy sight on teammates.

OR allow us to adjust the distance at which ally names pop-up. Personally, I think the option to hide ally names but not their arrow markers would be simpler to do, just have it cycle between all, names and none.

I know it's not kosher to bump threads, let alone my own...
but am I the only one unhappy with the all-or-nothing display options?

I think it'd be a lot of help to have something in-between.

the player fonts are so small that i barely can even read their name until i am 10-15 meters from them. if anything, i find them too small, including the icons on the map. i play at 1920x1080 so things get a bit small. what res are you using? there have been some request on the sony forums to increase/improve the icon scaling.

Been searching for a way to change the size of icons/fonts for a while now. 40" TV 1920x1080 =Can't see S#17 :P

Did find a way to change "chat" font. A*a* =lower left hand of Chat window...but No way to change in-game icons :/

Mods that change the hud are out too (all mods). BC if they catch you auto ban and loose your char. Another :/

I looked into this as well and from what I have read it seems intentional to force players to rely more on first person. I'm new to the game but there are threads going back years on this subject.

Platoon leader keeps calling out - get to the SCU - I know what the icon looks like from the wiki but ♥♥♥♥ if I can see the icon in-game. :rolls eyes:

DPI in Windows. I changed mine to 150%. I can now make out the icons on the mini map. You can raise the value more, but 150% worked for me.
