How do you optimize optimization?
Here's a newsflash, my computer has AMD.
Here's a flash of a newsflash, I run the game at Ultra at 60fps, with around 30 or more in 96+ vs 96+ battles. It doesn't kill anyone with an AMD's computer. It kills yours.
The game is (very obviously) a heavily demanding game. If you don't have enough RAM, a good enough CPU and GPU, a good enough HDD, and sufficient cooling systems in your PC, you won't get good performance.
If you have a laptop, kindly guide your mouse to the "library" tab in the top left, find PlanetSide 2, right click it, and "delete all local content". Laptops will not and cannot play this game, even if that laptop cost $8000. It will not happen.
If you have a PC (meaning a tower computer), as I said above, double check everything. Close every application except for Steam before running the game, take off the side cases to increase airflow into your PC, turn on a fan or buy a fan and point it directly at the insides.
Make sure you have a good enough PC overall, and good enough cooling.
List your specs like I'm about to list mine, and in the same order.
