Also, VS get a bird of prey and NC get a flying tank while TR gets a scout helo? Nice. Just nice.
What do you suggest to change?
I dont have much terribly much experience in using the valkryie, but it does offer some things that you could be looking for, and the buff made it more viable and durable. If anyone has more experience in it, please correct me if im wrong!
What is left in that narrow window is what the Valkyrie is, a troop transport with a nose gun. If you want an Attack Helicopter, fly an ESF with Hover frame.
The valkyrie is a pretty awesome craft as is, adding even more to it would make it rediculously OP. The fact you can repair it in the air and respawn troops? Pshaw, what more could you possibly ask for?
Honestly, I find most of the fighter-types to be pretty well balanced - decent mix of firepower, speed and lack of overall durability. However, once you get past there I think things get a bit too skewed in favor of the tankiness of them. Not sure how everyone in PS refers to things, but I'm not talking offensively so much as just their ability to soak a ton of damage.
so what you're asking for is kind of an imbalanced apache "helicopter" with factionspecific flavour.
well...that's already the role of esfs. they were designed to be jets, but turned out as a thing between helos and jets thanks to their vthrust.
the valkyrie fills the role of blackbirds - quick deployment of small groups.
therefore, no. there is no need for such a thing.
