A Platoon leader has control of minimum 2 squads and a maximum of 4 squads.
To start a squad simply invite a player by typing: "/ invite insertname" (Without the markings).
Once you have somebody invited to the squad you can edit the settings for that particular squad.
To start a platoon, invite a squad leader :)
And just to add to the additional Q abilities, which i find awefully underutilized by most people:
If you Q on capture points and such (and have the appropriate unlocks) you can also give priority commands to your squad, like telling them to focus on C point. Having those arrows around a capture point makes it a lot easier to know where the Squadleader wants you to go/be.
