sorry i just now noticed this game on PC....when that came about i dont know but i remember saying that i wanted to play it before it came out awhile back rofl.

anyways the reason i ask the question in the title is because i remember this being a sony game and since SOE(or w/e it was) was just sold off,which i forgot about as well,but remembered while browsing some of these recent posts while i DL the game.

is the new owners closing the game down or what? am i safe to DL it and play without this fear?dont wanna jump into it and BAM! games down for only who knows how long.

or does no one know? hate when games change hands like this lol

The company who bought it has plans for it, they wouldnt spend the money to obtain this if they were going to shut down planetside 2, at least thats what I know of.

Ask yourself why the new owners would spend money on something and then just close it down. It makes no sense. And if the game takes another direction in the future, well thats another matter

Why are you afraid? It's free, just download an play, it's not like you have to pay a monthly subscription or buy the game to play. Unless you get so attached to the game that you will lierally die if it closes down.

Why do you hate it when the game changes hands like this? not in general but this game planetside 2 in particular. From what I gather you have not played this game before and have absolutely no knowledge on how this game came to be. You would't even know if you like SOE running the game or Daybreak. Do you even know any games that changes hand and ruined your gaming experience?

except not? sorry but when i see people talking about the future of this game and no one knows anything about it then i tend to ask a simple question.but so far thats 3 responses that dont add anything helpful so why even reply? worst game community i have seen in a while.dont see how this game makes money if the crowd is this rude nor helpful at all.
