Grief points are points accumulated due to teamkilling/damaging.

Three warnings are given when the points reach certain levels.

At a higher level of points, all weapons are locked (The 3rd warning refers to this) for a period of time that increases every time your weapons are locked.

However, grief points do cooldown.

TopSpiiiiiin, perhaps he did actually need to know. Not everyone knows that the system is called 'grief points' or maybe they are just new to the game, or he could be a troll. Consider every option.

Well, as a part time troll myself, I definitely know that trolls can work in groups!

They are in the chat window (like the kills), it's the stuff that slowly fills up your chat after you hit a few people multiple times.

There was literally no reason why you couldn't have said: "Its team damage done" or "It is team damage points" or "Its points you get for damaging teammates".

There is a tip on the loading screen saying something like "damaging friendly dummies in the VR training will not give grief points." so yeah, from this we know that GP are basically the things you get when you friendly fire. I believe that when you reach a certain level your weapons are locked, if you become even higher than that your character is suspended for a while. I'm not sure tho.
