Game crashes on startup.

The game crashes after i try to play it, the launcher works fine but once the actual game opens, it sits on the still loading screen for a few seconds then closes.
any solution? i've tried verifying the game files to no avail.

Try changing windowed/fullscreen or capping your framerate (Steam/SteamApps/common/Planetside2 open UserOptions and look for MaximumFPS, change it to 60 or whatever your PC can handle).

This unfortunately did not work, it still crashes.

i figured it out, one of my friends found a post that said running the launcher as admin stops it from crashing instantly, which DID work.

i tried booting it up again just now and this no longer works. Why.

Well sometimes it's just the game. I had the same problem and the next patch fixed it. Sorry.
