Honestly if that is the case I am perfectly content with how much time and money I have put into this game over the years. I have been prepared for this to happen for probably 3-4 years now. I feel bad for people who joined the game late in its lifetime though. As the game has changed and evolved and then devolved over the years. They missed out on peak PS2 like from 2012-2018 the game was at its prime.

I actually always thought that Wrel would kill the game and get it shut down but he's been out of the picture now well over a year or two now. So we can't really blame him or anybody at Daybreak since they don't have control over the game anymore.

20 yrs plus for me, i stopped for couple yrs when i came back.. they couldnt recover my acct.. said they sent message we had 30 days t log in to save it from being deleted.. i missed it, ive got bout 1600 hrs now.. the game has been great, provided much fun and met lots of good friends.. before it closes doors ,it would be fun to be able to go back to the caverns..... thanks planetside 1 & planetside 2

Everyone is panicking too much. As long as people are playing the game.....and certainly the queue timer seems to suggest that this is so....someone will pick up the property and run with it.

I figure the reason they haven't posted anything is that they're trying to find a buyer or something like that. Hopefully they figure something out. I haven't played much since development stalled out last year, but I do love the game.

Enad and Toadman only maintained the game, the IP got sold last year to Bay Tree Tower already

this really was the best big battle field type game ever made... sigh

Infiltrators never made me rage quit either. In fact, I personally never played them all that much. I always liked hunting down light vehicles and Max Suits as an engineer with an Antimatter Rifle. Or jump in an antiair max suit and bonk enemy jets.
