Steambox? For those who need prebuilts.
Dragging my desktop into the living room? Foolish example to justify a console.

I just plug my high performing laptop in to the home television. The laptop when closed and running fits in just like any recent console. The desktop is plugged into three other televisions in the office where it doesn't need to move.
"Bragging" aside,

Will absolutely love it! I've been enjoying Warframe and been waiting for that to become crossplay as well.
Some people still caught up in console wars, not so much.

You know that HDMI cable works with modern computers as well? I plugged my laptop to my flatscreen, I could do the same with my desktop PC.

You are the only one here making foolish hurpa derp predictions that a overpriced PC will somehow be "serious competition" to the console market.

the PC can't replace a console, while a steambox can.

it has all the advantages of a console that a regular PC lacks, while also having the PC advantages.

Im going to come back in a couple of weeks and see if you already noticed what youve write.

Messed up that qoute pretty bad. But yeah one day he'll realize what steambox is, and that small footprint PC's(even highend ones) have been around for many years.

'Steambox' is a marketing gimmick, and clearly it's worked like a charm when you read what Arator has to say about it.

Only reason i am excited for ps4 ps2 is I am hoping they will do a 2x or 3x station cash deal for the release. I will take a keyboard and mouse over a controller any day.

i am. good thing about the up coming ps4 version is the ps4 has sold over 5 million consoles. im looking forward to full servers 24/7 and also a chance to play with a controller for a change.

as soon as the release date is announced i shall buy a ps4.

Until people are as ignorant as you, they will always call the PC market "overpriced" and believe it's not big enough to give the console market competition.
But yeah, thread is pretty much over, the PS4 version will look worse, play worse, have a worse community.
If you are excited about this, then good for you.
