PS2 Crashes to desktop in middle of game. no error
whenever im playing, in the middle of game it crashes with no error message, no nothing. its random, it can happen anywhere from 5 - 60 minutes of playing. help?

Your Planetside is working well, no reason to reinstall. Getting 1-2 crashes per day is normal.

I get same but usually only during an alert when I'm in a major battle

The most common crash of planetside is simply the 32bit client running out of memory (as soon as the game uses more than 4GB RAM it crashes instantly). Lowering settings helps in most cases.

i have 8gb of ram but running on a 32 bit sytem wich only supports up to 4gb of RAM. That could explain the crashes. will try running lower settings

I haven't had a crash for PS2 for the past ~70 hours in game... and I run highest settings.

I had this problem and my ststem has 4GB of ram. Solution? Drop texture quality to low.
