As it is only for the Combat Medic, it is quite situational which Attachments are the best choice.

But for the beginning, I see only 1 good alround Loadout.
(This is from only my experiences. Still these are considered the best choices by most people)

2x Reflex Sight / Compensator /Laser Sight / High Velocity Ammo

Soft point ammo as you are 9/10 allways going to be in close combat, the n/v scope close range again, my personal pref is i use silencer dont no why just sounds good to me lol,and the grip for decrease in vertical recoil hope this helps.

Foregrips reduce horizontal recoil/shimmy, not vertical recoil. You need a compensator for that.

The other thing you might not be aware of is that both the Supressor and Soft Point ammo reduce muzzle velocity. A Supressor also negatively affects damage dropoff, while SPA gives you better damage dropoff at closer ranges, so they are working somewhat cross-purposes.

Why the heck would you put both a compensator AND a laser sight on the same weapon? Laser sights enhance hipfire, Compensators make it worse. I can understand Compensator and HV ammo, because the Comp counteracts the downside of using HV, but at that point you're obviously intending to ADS the gun at mid-range targets, so the laser sight is somewhat pointless.

Advice follows:

The NS-11A (and NS-11P) is an odd duck. It's a weapon that has several features that would be desirable in close quarters combat (75% ADS movespeed, fast reloads), and a few that are desireable in mid- to long-range encounters (high muzzle velocity, relative low rate of fire). It also fits a wide variety of attachments, which gives it some flexibility.

In simple terms, it's a weapon made for ADS fire at mid- to close-range, but remains passable in conditions where you might need close-quarters hip-fire. It's a good weapon to have with you if you're not sure under what conditions your next fight is going to take place.

You basically want 2 loadouts:

Close range: 1x Reflex or HS/NV Scope, Laser Sight, Soft Point ammunition.

Long range: 2x Reflex or 3.4x scope, Compensator, Foward Grip.

I'm not going to recommend everyone go with HV Ammo for the long range setup, because the muzzle velocity of the weapon is already fairly high, and the added recoil is sometimes not worth it. Whether or not you use it will be a matter of personal taste. For myself, I use it on some weapons and not on others, but I haven't yet decided which category the NS-11A/P falls into.

As a medic, the usefulness of a supressor is highly debatable. As a support class, generally you'll be moving with a squad, so not showing up on the minimap when you fire isn't going to help much when the rest of your squad does. Obviously, if your squad is doing some black-ops, behind enemy lines stuff, and everyone else has one, then you'll want one too. Otherwise, I've generally found that the penalties to damage dropoff and muzzle velocity from equipping one are too sever to justify it. I don't even use them on SMG Infils anymore.

+gromthep Thanks A LOT for the long explication and examples, you would make a great Vanu instructor :)

Compensator helps at medium range and laser sight cancels out the compensator's hipfire penalty.
Since NS-11A already has great hipfire accuracy by default, you're not missing out much by "wasting" the laser sight on the compensator
Further you can use High Velocity Ammo without a big penalty.

You're welcome. Unfortunately for you, I am living free with the NC, so any "instruction" I give you guys is going to be conducted exclusively under "live fire" conditions. :NC:

So your best case scenario is that your gun is the same as though you hadn't stuck any attachments on it at all? That sounds like a waste of certs to me.

Nevermind that I think the Compensator hipfire penalty is bigger than the laser sight bonus. Significantly, so far as I can tell. I don't really want to come off as trying to tell you how to play, but the whole point of weapon attchments is to make your gun better than it would be without them. You're almost always better off specialising than trying to turn your gun into a generalist. If you're worrying about overspecialising into a particular role, then the most efficient solution would be to simply take the attachments off.

The other thing is that the NS-11A is really an ADS gun anyway, so laser sights are a fairly low priority attachment. They aren't useless if you get caught by suprise, but most of the time you'll be firing ADS until you're so close to the enemy that the laser sight wouldn't really matter. Really, I recommend them on a CQC loadout mostly because the foward grip increases weapon equip time, which can get you killed in that kind of fighting, and the laser sight is the only other useful attachment for that slot. (If it could use them, I'd recommend Extended mags over either of them in that situation.)
