Weapon choice for Vanu medic

Hi. Well I have saved more than 1,5k for gun. But I don't know what gun I really want :/ so I play mostly as Vanu medic. Do you have any suggestions for gun. It should be mid range gun and some fine fire rate. :) I'm grateful for any recommendations

There is no better gun than the Pulsar VS1 for the Medic. If you want a slightly worse gun, with more attachment options you can get the Equinox VE2 for its Grenade launcher rail option.

If you are a more aggressive minded Medic, then you could try the H-V45, but the in my experience as Medic (and i've been maining Medic since release), the most useful gun, considering the engagement ranges Medics fight in, remains the Pulsar VS1.

If you really want to force CQC the H-V45, for longer ranges the NS-11A. But generally the Terminus.

Just make sure to first cert out the med tool, revive grenades, a suit slot, C4 or medkits, and the AOE heal.

Ok thank you. AOE heal ? you mean that shield recharger ?

Nope, the AoE heal. Its the skill you start with as a combat medic. Press F, heal yourself and everyone around you. My medics run with C4 instead of med kits because I can keep myself healed with the aoe heal.

I personally enjoy the Corvus for long range, has more kick per bullet, great for mid-long range support! However thats all it really does well, once in close range you pray your opponent sucks at aiming.

The NS-11a is a good at everything weapon, dare I say it better than the Pulsar mostly because the NS-11a has almost no recoil.

I tried Terminus and I can say that recoil is easy to handle if you can how and you play some other shooting games.

You can handle the recoil of all guns in this game. Note that i said it has a higher recoil not an "uncontrollable" recoil.

well it always depends on your playstyle :/
if u are aggresive pick hv-45
long range combat use the corvus
but for overall versatility the default medic weapon and the terminus works really well in almost every situation, which i suggest to auraxium the pulsar vs1 first since it's the first weapon u get for the medic class

If you have zero idea what the gunfights will turn into when you hit that deploy button; default is pretty smexy.

If you KNOW you're gonna be mostly close to midrange (Biolaaab), rock a damn shotgun and be done with it.

If you KNOW you're gonna be mid to longrange, I use the Corvus(I think that's it) with burst fire and paitence.

Also keep in mind that a weapon can almost vary wildly depending on your attachments. Compensator + Foregrip makes a world of difference on some guns.

Even if I have more than 7000 kills on my HV-45 (I'm an aggressive CQC hipfire ♥♥♥♥♥), I think Terminus is the more versatile gun for VS medic.

It's harder to adpat to than the Pulsar VS1, but in the hand of a competent player that can control the burts, the thing is a killer, way better than the Pulsar.

As Wrel (i think it was him) said in a review "Terminus is the Pulsar for the veteran" or something along the line.

Once you adapt to the different recoil pattern, Terminus handles better and perform better at range than Pulsar with virtually none vertical recoil but, and here's the downside, with a very annoying horizontal sway.

If I had to chose between Pulsar and Terminus I'd chose terminus 101 times over 100.


Sum up for the OP: HV-45 is a great weapon but limited in range, the only one with 0.75% ADS movement speed but with longer reload time, Terminus is a wonder if you know how to handle it (which can be tricky for a beginner though), NS11A is another super accurate gem that requires you to go for headshots but that is deadly accurate.
CME is for long-range only, equinox is crap, burst weapons are crap.
Corvus is meh.

Bottom line, Terminus if you can shoot, HV-45 if you are the close quarter type, NS11A if you can hit the head. In case of doubt, stick to your standard Pulsar VS1, it's a very solid weapon.
