How to transfer sensitivity from CS GO to Planetside 2
PS2 gives us freedom in terms of mouse sensitivity for all different types of killing machines. However default "rations" seems srsly odd comparing to CS GO

I always used inch/360 measurement to transfer my sensitivity from ET to CS:S, CS:GO etc etc. However all this games are hip fire type of titles with only one type of ADS or SCOPED weapons with basicly same ratio for ADS: 2x hip fire inch/360 cm. Thats simple to transfer.

Since Panetside 2 offers huge variety of scopes, the problem rises. I'm able to transfer hip fire sensitivity with ease, just by doing inch/360 method but each ADS scope has different value, ZOOM IS THE ISSUE, if transfer 2x inch/360 using basic iron ADS it might feel ok but it's NOT. Well I'm doing 360 in twice slower then hip fire but it all goes to crap when I decide to change oprics for let's say Reflex X2, now its not 2x Hip Fire for 360 but neartly 3 times. So you either find scope that provides exactly same ads zoom as CS GO SG533/AUG and AWP/SCOUT Zoom and the use this method or Inch/360 method of sensitivity transfer in this case is ♥♥♥♥ my lord ;/

In short: To properly transfer sensitivity, distance your phycially mouse movement should result in exactly same distance covered by your crosshair on the screen no matter the FOV or ZOOM, that would be the perfect method to transfer sensitivity, but is there any software that provides that ?

ADS/Scope sensitivity don't account for the automatic percentage changes to assist peasants in aiming down sights. I'm not sure what the number is, could be 25 percent reduction, 50 percent, you'll have to play around with it.
Once you come from Battlefield 4 with Uniform Soldier Aiming enabled, nothing can compare to the level of accuracy that gives you.

Just seen video bout this stuff, its fukn perfect, should be implemented to all games! I wish that Battlefront 3 will feature this option

EDIT: This site is perfect example why inch/360 method is ♥♥♥♥, just tried to transfer scope sensitivity, it's nowhere near proper setting, its freakin hilarious fast

I really hope all future games on the BF4 engine (Battlefront 3 for example) include Universal Soldier Aiming. It's fantastic, it compensates for FOV changes too. You have to have premium on the site in order to mess with Uniform Soldier Aiming to other games, which sucks. Regardless, the site is fantastic. I have my settings pretty similar now. All I need to do is use the site to get the conversions for hipfire/ADS/Scope. I used a calculator with 50 percent, 15 percent, and 75 percent and it's nowhear near the numbers the site comes up with. Planetside 2 Has weird aiming mechanics. :|

What server?

this needs to be suggested in reddit/via twitter to the devs, because that's freaking amazing!

If you happen to have premium account on that site could I ask you transfer my CS GO values into BF4 UsA and then onto PS2 if that's possible ?

My CS GO settings are:
Resolution: 1680x1050
DPS: 1000
FOV: 100
Sensitivity: 1,57

I came from ET too when I started playing PS2 in early beta. Luckily for me I had my ET confing set to switch to a lower sens each time I was firing. That helped me adapt to PS2.

If you play infantry and avoid play sniper (cuz frak them right?) you can easily run a 1x or 2x scope on everything (3.4x might be an option for extremely long ranges but the sway you get from camera shake is atrocious without the proper implant).

Bottom line: Instead of transfering the exact numerical values from ET to PS2 I tansfered my "general rule" which is about 9-10cm/180° while not firing 9-10cm/90° while firing.
Since I play infantry 99% of my time and 100% of that time with 1x or 2x scopes, my sens is consistent.
You than have to just build new muscle memory for those settings. Might suck for a couple of days but in the end it will pay out.

Just my 2 cents.
GL.

The whole point of this topic is to prevent "ruining" muscle memory when you jump from one FPS to another. What's the point of improving your skills when you eventually got to start from scratch anyway.

Sturm-Falke101 statement bout BF4 and it's UsA intrested me enough to insta buy this game (luckly it's on sale now) I used simple inch/360 technique to transfer sensitivity from CS GO and with UsA ON it works perfectly. The outcome is simple, since the very first game I can easly kill ppl ;) but more important is that when I come back to CS after week, month or whenever I won't be shooting like newbie once again.

DEVS! THAT WOULD BE FREAKIN AWSOME IF YOU COULD IMPLEMENT UNIFIED SENSITIVITY OPTION FOR ALL IN-GAME SCOPES, THANKS !
