Router spawn
Anyone else think it's a bit OP that you can apparently place a spawn point hidden away in the middle of an enemy base?

There's like a 15 second delay each time you want to deploy on a router spawn. Its really easy to destroy once people know the general area. I'd say its pretty balanced.

It also shows up on the enemy's mini map so it's not that well hidden.

Exactly this. The things are extremely fragile and can be taken out with just a magazine or two of regular weaponry - the only reason they may seem OP is that established squads or platoons will heavily defend the router until they population swamp the area.

Questionable balance. I really don't like Items like that.
It's only easy to destroy if you get a shot at it.

What do you mean hidden? You can see it on the mini map if you are in the base, or close by. You can also OS or throw 2-3 EMPs and it will break it, and theres no way to repair it.

It's only as difficult to destroy as the attackers are incompetent. The massive respawn delay forces the router users to play much more conservatively and tactically, the router itself having very little HP and often being at the mercy of grenade spam.

The real issue is router bases imo,
Replacement routers can be flown in every like 1 minute with a proper router base.
Router spires should show up on map like OS uplinks and have similar drain imo so an ANT can't spend 3 minutes making a base for an hour of router spam.
Or have each router cost 1k cortium or something, they're currently a 0 risk high reward playstyle with nearly 0 time investment to keep them up. They don't show up so they're rarely found and even if they are the Router man can just abandon it and rebuild in 3-5 minutes (which will again be good for 40 minutes to an hour).

Lets not forget, you can have more then 1 router at a router base.

Agree wholeheartedly with Shortpower. Way too cheap to put out and you realistically cannot go and deal with all the router bases hidden on the continent, so they'll just keep coming forever from Stalker infils and there's no realistic counterplay.

The deploy system in general sucks and needs a whole change, make transport vehicles useful again please.

15 seconds on a 24+ point hold isn't much considering res naded etc, you basically need to burn an OS immediately if an organized platoon placed it down.

From what i can been told, you can also kill it with 2 emp nades.
