Mouse lag in-game?
I own a LogiTech M510 (wireless), and up until now, I've had absolutely no issues.

I logged in today and the lag between moving my mouse and actual movement had me careening into walls and off of cliffs./

It's been a while since I changed the batteries, so I thought it was dying. Replaced the batteries, but no dice.

Now I'm noticing that this lag only pops up in-game. It's just fine right now.

I know wireless mice are bad. I just stole whatever my family wasn't using when I left for college. I plan on buying a proper mouse when I can, but for now, I'm stuck with this.

Any suggestions...?

I have had the same probelem is several other games.
It seemed like it happens if my graphics were set at a level at which my computer could only just handle the graphics but at the cost of some mouse delay. With me turning a single graphical setting down from high to medium did the job but just fiddle around with them and you'll most likely find a setting that looks good and doesn't have mouse delay.
Good luck.

Checked my graphics - everything's on the lowest possible setting already, due to my laptop's struggle with this game. I've managed a fairly consistent 40 fps, however, and again, I've had zero problems until this point.

It's very odd. I think I'm just going to cave in and buy a proper mouse.

i have that same mouse and i found my problem was with the wireless receiver, the internals of the receiver had been knocked around a bit and came loose, and there is no way to fix it, but i just bought a new mouse, but i did find if you put something below the receiver to prop it up a bit it works fine - but i dont know if this is the case with you as you said it only happens in-game

Have you changed the ingame settings and checked "reduce mouse lag"?
