The MAX nerfs were caused by the coordinated efforts of a few very good players abusing MAX for months straight. Going on 50-200 kill streaks nightly and getting revived when they went down.
They actually weren't very happy with this MAX "nerf" sure it harms the ability of zerglings to hold W in a MAX and die repeatedly before getting rezzed which is nice, but it doesn't stop good players from going on massive kill streaks and being functionally unkillable.

Im aware. Ive been here since 2012 and have an ASP 100 character on every faction.
Ive gone on 100+ killstreaks in Lightnings and pretty sure as infantry if I can find my old Photobucket pictures. Anything in the game can be abused. I get taking ressing away but the logic doesnt fit, especially with nerfing AA, adding pocket orbies, and buffing Libs. If good players are coordinating and wrecking face, welp thats part of the game. We're bufing other things they use and nerfing the counter play to it. So again, the logic doesnt work here.
Maxes have 2k hp and takes less dmg from small arms, and you could revive them, and the NC ones could 1 ONK you. So now tell me in you view, how or why they were ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥?
I see on the daliy everyone saying there maxes are ♥♥♥♥, even befor the nerf.
There were also alerts making them free to pull, and you can use boosters to faster recharge nanites, so you can spam them.
New players aren't using MAXs to "fight back", they get farmed BY MAXs
