There were outfits specifically made on miller just to teamkill russian outfits on spot, for months and months. One of the outfit leaders i had good relations with told me it was just impossible to play because people were tracking them down just to ruin the game even when their outfit members left. So Russians decided naah mate we are done here. Thus the majority left to play BF or whatever there was that offered a solid gameplay.
As for Ukraininans, i don't know, but i did notice how in Mordhau for example their numbers have dwindled down significantly, same on Destiny 2 and DRG. I don't wanna assume but i bet it has something to do with drafting and/or fleeing to Europe leaving their PCs behind.
Which won't happen since EG7 announced maintenance mode for it - they won't shut down the servers but active development stopped
tl;dr: Yes, we get it. The game is dead. Just move on.
If you don't buy/have the most overpowered equipment unlocked your basically screwed because skill/strategy means nothing in this game when the other player just 1 shots you with overpowered equipment in a same class. Just pay to win game that could have been way better, not worth the investment/time - far too cheesy/unrewarding when PVP mechanics are so poorly managed.
This game has a lot of potential if they're willing to scale back the overpowered equipment and put everything on a smaller damage scale, but something tells me $$$ they won't.
the only thing ptw is the implants you can get with a bundle other than that most weapons are copy/paste skins. you can earn most weapons with ingame currency
This game is pretty balanced on that end.
Honestly, it's kinda disappointing how little pay to win there is for this game. Or really, how little there is anything worth buying in the cash shop.
Definitely makes you feel like you'd be better with pay to win, sure, but that's where it ends. Go buy some, and then realize that you are dying at basically the same rate.
The skilled players have an edge, and that edge gives them certs faster, whether they pay or not. Being a squad leader or platoon leader will give you certs faster. Having a full outfit of skilled players is further still a huge edge that will give you certs faster. And being on the winning side of an alert will give you certs faster.
Don't forget that this game is flooded with Asian cheaters in Soltech Server. I experienced that most of the time during my play time. I reported their account names to the devs thrice in a row yet they weren't banned and still continuing to destroy everyone's game experience. Also, the performance of this game is trash. That's all I can tell you mate. Better play other games than this garbage.
Anywho, sounds like you don't like this game and don't want to play it. Enough said.
But you're here, telling others not to play... Why? I mean, wouldn't it be better for you to leave and not look back at the burning dumpster fire of this game? Is it about being acknowledged as right? Or something else?
If I had the problems you reported, I'd leave and not come back. I might go that route anyway, we'll see. But I'll stop posting here when I leave.
Key Business Focus for 2022
Dunno, kinda think this game needs "brand" work if they want a sequel.
I mean, it's pretty old, yet it's labeled as a sequel. But who actually remembers the original? I think I played it once....hyper generic shooter. Tribes was more memorable.
And what's with the name? There's no planet in this game. In "planetside" our planet is flat and rectangle... there's nothing spherical about these maps. And you can't dig, only build on top of what's already there....and there's no space, just sky.
I get that it's a battlefield bigger than most, and that's cool, but the name doesn't really match the game. Don't really see what the point of a sequel would be. "Confusing game name number 3"?
And on top of that, every time I do a search for
And do any of the game elements seem overly unique to this game? Sure don't for me. Is this game even copyright-able?
I think the only realistic future for
Planetside = On the surface of a planet, not referting to the maps but the game's story
...counterstrike is planetside, call of duty is planetside, supermario is planetside....I could go on. Very few non-planetside games if distinguishing between battlefields as on planet surface and off...
Not really much of game title. Doesn't really give the game any direction other than a "no space combat" directive.
PS: since the other quote isn't here, for clarity, I'm commenting about why I don't think a sequel will come to this game, not suggesting that these factors would stop people from playing the game now.
