Lets be honest there are guys with 10k+ hours in this ♥♥♥♥, these people won't be missing many shots.
That guy was not to smart either, he thought he could hide next to hes AT mana turret xD
Its really sad people need to cheat in this game. Whats the point of getting good, if cheaters can just cheat to get ahead.
Ya, a lot of players with crazy hours have more map awareness so it feels like esp. Same thing with skilled shooters looking like aim bot. Skill and map awareness so high it looks like cheats.
That said we all know there are scumbags who do it. It's just not a major thing, 1 in 60 seemed like a possible ball park.
I still remember a video I saw years back where a guy reported someone for being a hacker. The idiot forgot his esp was active in the video and ended up self reporting himself. Good times.
Zerging isn't a bannable offence; and even if it was, you'd also have to support the banning of zergfits on NC and TR. Besides, continent population queues keep population even on the actual continents regardless of what the world population chart says.
I agree, the fact that I'm crouched behind a wall and get killed through the wall is a clear sign there's cheating in this game and its always Red team.
You most be either cherry picking, new or jsut unlucky.
I been killed by cheaters from all sides, VS, TR, NC.
Not sure i got killed by a NSO cheater yet tho.
There's actually a reason for that. VS used to be the hot-spot for hackers because it was a bit harder to pick them out. If an NC or TR is hacking, it's pretty easy to tell. VS's accuracy is already so good across the board that the hacks barely had to change anything.
Nowadays, it really doesn't matter what faction you are a part of, they have hacks going on. Regardless of faction.
Right now, there's more ESP going around than anything, since anything more egregious would get them slapped with a ban in an hour or so, but there's absolutely evident hackers out there. Anyone saying they don't exist is just being as hyperbolic as people who claim EVERYTHING is hacks.
The issue is that in a game where you've got roughly 3000 people online, 1 in 50 or even 1 in every 100 people using ESP can still MASSIVELY change the way things go for one side or another.
It's really frustrating to run into hackers, but sadly that's just gaming these days.
I mean, you've got kids out here spending $60 to buy a copy of CoD, and then $15 a month for aimbots, and then REBUYING the game on new steam accounts just to hack again after they get banned. A F2P game is absolutely going to be RIDDLED with them if there's barely any punishment for it.
It's why I think there needs to be MORE of a presence of GM's and moderators in games these days, people who can actually play the game and know when something doesn't add up. That USED to be how games dealt with hackers and cheaters, but that style of caring for games is dead I guess.
