How to use a joystick to fly in Planetside 2
Yes, Planetside 2 Aircraft are VTOL aircraft, *NOT* traditional aircraft. We get it already.

Step 1: Get the devs to *F*O*K*K*I*N*G* support controllers.

Step 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qDgSfjCGUiU

You *PLAUSIBLY CAN FLY PLANETSIDE 2 AIRCRAFT WITH A HOTAS*. Do *NOT* say that you can't. *YOU CAN*.

Planetside 2 *DOES NOT SUPPORT* them. Anything you can actually get to input, like an XBOX Controller on the Steam version, inputs poorly, because you can't scale sensitivity or set deadzones. That is the *ONLY* reason there aren't people using them.

I don't want to start a movement. I'm not going to collect signatures. I'm not here to change anything. I'm just here to stop people from insinuating that actually using a HOTAS to fly aircraft would somehow be worse than KBM. *It won't*.

Just get two joysticks, a throttle, rudder pedals/gas pedals, and you're good. You have *more* than enough analog and digital input surfaces to control Planetside 2 aircraft.

If it was me I wouldn't even bother with the PVC.

If you want dev senpai to notice you, you want to post this on reddit.
