Planetside2 LaunchPad connection failed!

Hello,

I´ve got a problem with Planetside2, I downloaded it from Steam but there is a problem: I started the game then this error came.


LaunchPad was unable to connect. Please check the network connection or try again later. If the problem persists, please visit https://help.daybreakgames.com for assistance.

Do exactly as the error message tells you.

Check your network connection, make sure Planetside 2 isn't being blocked by your firewall/router.

it isn´t blocked and i can play all other things

Might be worth trying to download client direct from daybreak. Have you played the game in the past?

Was it when sony/soe ran the game, or was it daybreak running it when you last played?

I had the same issue yesterday. 5 minutes later, it worked fine. Most likely just an issue with the login server or maintenance.

I would check your firewall because the same thing happens to me

Must be something with the login servers or the ISP or any network carrier between the server and you. Yesterday it worked like normal, today i get the same error as OP. So just be patient and i should work again.

this is how i solved mine, but mostly i have to do this everytime i want to luanch the game

just go to My Computer/
Local Disk C/
Users/
Username/
Appdata/
LocalLow/
Daybreak Game Company/
Digests/
Planetside2 folder... And then delete everything in that planetside 2 folder, also run the game using administrator....

Just did a quick verify, redownloaded 10 gb and the launcher started without an error. Patched about 120 mb and now everything is back to normal.

yea with the steam version aswell as the non steam version

Thank you TheBoss, I deleted the whole foulder and checked the files for errors on steam, then it said there are over 1000 files missing.After that Steam is doing an update. Then it worked thank you very much.
