Server locked error?

Usually, it says it's down for maint before I click the play button on launcher, but it lets me onto the character selection screen to tell me server is locked. Assuming this is because it's in maintenance?

Yea 15 min ago us on the server got messages saying they were locking us out in that amount of time, guess they made it where new people couldn't get in, and we all got booted just now. Seems like they need to do some more maintenance because they said they fixed the explosion lag bug, but today it hard froze and crashed my game.

Don't know. I just tried, it just says "Server locked" under your characters. This is mildly annoying.

looking at hotfix comments seems like they are trying to figure out why people are crashing and needed to empty the servers, would be my guess. just hope they extend the event by a day if it ends up taking a while.

it would be great if they announce locking down servers - completely understandable if they have tech issues, but I though it was on my end until I checked here after trying logging in for half an hour

patch just went out hopefully servers will come back if hotfix was successful.
