Theres no match making, so you can't tell if are fighting a semi-cheater or player with 10k hours.

Yes several years, I said that many members of a particular team, and I was attacked , more than a year after , that team was banned.
But today there are more gamers with hacks than honest gamers.
Today I uninstall again.

I think thats with all multiplayer games to be fair. Its a huge profitable business in todays time. Didnt they arrest some guy who made cheats for games where he had earned over 300 million dollars total? The fact is its insanely exspensive to dedicate the amount of money you need to prevent cheaters. Everyday joes make cheats for games and what not.

I've played on and off for years. Never seen blatant hacking until recently. There's been a surge of blatant hackers this last few weeks. At least on emerald.

There's the occasional blatant cheater that, sadly, sometimes completely kills entire fights for hundreds of people. Then there's the subtle cheaters who do cheat but try to do it in a way that isn't entirely obvious.
Then there's just really REALLY good players who already know where you're gonna peek from and shoot in advance.
Then there's people who cry "unterground cheater!!!!1!" because they don't know all the grenade types in the game.

However, at least on Miller, cheaters are not that prevalent, and when they do appear they're really obvious. I wish DBG was more proactive when someone with a BR5 char suddenly has a 500 kill streak with no deaths.

I will dont read the apologyst of hackers obvious that not all players have, but a big number of them.
I was killed inside the respawn's, inside the warpgate, I was killed by a light assault with inifinite fuel backpak inside the respawn. Players that never could caught by his back because they know that you are income because they use wallhack, till using perks that decoy the scanners and radar signal, Players that kill me with a shootgun, or smg more than hundred meters, and smg all shoots on my head falling like light, or performing slalom, all shots on my head.... come on. etc.

I've been played this game for years, and I know perfectly when a player is a hacker.
And when I said that a famous team uses hacks, I was replayed by the aspirational and obsecuent players that pray them by private "please could you give me your hack", YOU DONT KONW HOW TO USE AIM," YOU !" GO TO PLAY TETRIS!!!! .

After that, one day I READ IN SPLASH BANNER THE TEAM ".... 'S" WAS BANNED....

Cheaters this, cheaters that, everyone's heard about the recent client that got put out so we don't need 20 threads of this feeding people who do nothing but call everyone better than them a cheater.

It could also be a lag switcher, they are more commen then hackers.

I was playing on cobalt last night, we had 2 people complaing about hackers, Turns out one is so bad he can't tell a semi good player over a hacker.
And the other is so new to the game, or mains LA so hard he have never heard of cloak or snipers, or cloaked sunders. It was rather awful, all the spam really.

Seen hardly any cheaters but have seen many players with years of experience and almost everything opened up. The more you play the more you see what guns etc work in what situations and the fact the game shows you were the killer was usually shows they saw you first and got the shot off first. There were 3 newer players on last night one saying the game was pants after playing maybe an hour :) one saying he keeps getting killed to fast, well that's due to inexperience and lack of upgrades and the last just accusing people of hacking, he clearly had no idea how infiltrators work. This is the age of player under say 30 that spend to much time on their auto aim PlayStation games with so all actual skill or experience in a game that requires it. So infested with cheats? No is clear answer - it is infested with experience and newer patient players simple as that

A cyber security firm irdeto did a study surveying over 9000 gamers from 4 diffrent countries and found that over %40 of gamers use 3rd party cheating software to cheat in online multi-player games. Cheats are not limited to aim bot and esp cheats also include change weapon stats like recoil and damage doing it that way gives you a huge advantage with out being so obvious.. It's almost guaranteed that every multi-player games you are in you are playing with someone who has used hacks tbh gamers can't really be trusted and those are the ones that admitted to using them and it's not counting those who cheat using glitches or lag switching. Ofcourse I'm not saying %40 of players are cheating in planet side. Most cheaters gravitate to more popular games like warfare which is why it's so rampant in that game.

Have rarely seen obvious cheaters on the EU servers. Very suspicious things on the other hand? At least weekly.

It also differs on the region. Often asian communities gets called out as the most cheater ridden ones.
Beeing a F2P game makes it certainly worse.

I guess one bigger problem for newer players is peakers (aka laggers) adventage. Can't fight a player if you can't see him yet. It won't help that the ttk can be as low as reaction time.

I have seen 4 these past 2 weeks, one on emerald, and 3 on cobalt.
I got videos of 3 of them, while the last was likely the second account of the flying max i saw. The one i saw was NC but after a while he was gone and a TR one was doing the same.
