The Bishop is somewhat of a mini sniper, but lacks the DPS to do anything in close range.
The Vanqisher has a greater range of usefull engagement distances, but it's hard to get the entire 3 round burst on target at long ranges.
The pircing gimmic on both guns is cool, but in the end just that. A gimmic.
Bishop can theoreticaly pirce unlimited soft targets, but in practice, you will never hit more than 2 targets, if even that.
But both guns are good for shooting pocket engis hiding behind their MAXes.
Bishop works only and exclusively only in long range, where it's surclassed by snipers.
Reaper DMR offer a 3 headshots kill at any rage, is full auto, has decent hipfire and can work in close range too.
Notable mention: Bishop is good if you have the Battle Rifle secondary from an ASP perk. Then you can run a close range weapon as primary (like a cyclone, why not) and switch to Bishop when you need to poke people at range. Just don't get caught reviving because you won't have a pistol to switch to in a pinch.
