Too many cheaters!

I have been playing this game for a while now and i can't tell you how many times I've seen people use collision cheats with aimbot in this game this is specially true if you play in SolTech. Most of these cheaters are inside rocks, caches in the capture points or even underground and one cheater can flip the game into the enemy's favor.
DB needs to work on how to get rid of this cheaters, i frequently encounter this type of cheaters in SolTech and is ruining the game for many players. Can't the Devs put like some sort of Instant Death or DoT for these players if they're inside debris or something else for some period of time.

Edit: Idk if other servers has a big cheater problem, but in SolTech we occasionally see cheaters/exploiters

Edit 2: SolTech needs help from the mods ASAP

I've experienced it first hand. I know it can be caused by a bug during revive. I've had it happen to me before. I'm unsure of the exact mechanism that causes it but I do know it's tied to revival.

When people talk about flying maxes that are hackers, they mean this.

Actually. Technically. It is plausibly client-side nonsense.

See, if a client has an extreme latency gap of even 4~ seconds they won't be booted from the server and once their client does next ping the server it will send all the information from their client to the server. So if in that lag spike the last information their client received was "Xui was walking left" for those 4 seconds he's desynced he will see you moving left, potentially out from behind the rock. If he then kills you during his desync once he resyncs it will tell the server "I shot that guy" and you will die without ever having left the rock.

This is still bannable if the person in question has abused this multiple times (because it must be intentional at that point to at the very least abuse incidental lag) but is still client-side nonsense.

It's also rare enough in the wild, that yeah if it's happening consistently to you and you're sure that's what it is. It is sus, no reason not to report people for it and let the game sort it out.

I play since 2014 and the death of PS1. And i'm done, definitely.

The game is plagued by aimbot. I was reporting EVERY session one to tree times to the [e-mail], with multiple videos. They do nothing. They don't even look at the vids.
Entire outfits openly cheating, KDR 5 to 10, even 20. Arguing in chat, naming thereselves accordingly, nothing. NO. THING.
They don't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ care.
This game can be a gold in bar, a diamond. They turn it into a ♥♥♥♥ pile.
It becomes unplayable, unenjoyable, rigged by numerous "rebalancing" and nerfing that it was became a pure joke, and in any way i am willing to pay anything for what it is now. Never.

I'm done. And i'm sad. I miss the old Planet Side, with the old team so much...

They do seem to ignore cheats! Now anyone with any sense would actually make a real anti cheat or even more simply have some GM's/Admins which in turn would stop people ruining other people fun which causes them to play less. With this small simple change they would see more players and more of the important thing called MONEY but it just seems to me they are trying to kill the game

I actively play and the only cheater I've seen in YEARS was a flying max and that was at least 3 years ago. I'm not saying it doesn't happen but the vast majority of cheaters are just salty players who were outskilled.

These are the ones i ran into.

A week ago or 2, there was a hacker sitting under crown killing people at a sudden death alert on emerald. And today there was a guy aim botting, which is why VS didt fight TR, since the hacker was TR, what did he do you might ask? Aimbot hardcore.

I'm aware that most people who scream hack is just bad players dying.
But what we are talking about is not that.. We are talking about blatent aim botting and teleporting. Of people sitting under the map shooting or inside hills landing 80% headshots as a engineer turret, while you are inside your spawn.
Or of a sunder teleporting around shoot at you, its not floating away, its flying around and shoot at you, while the server latency is fine, connection good and ping normal.


And when i tell you the hackers didt know about the anti cheat update, i'm trying to tell you that it didt change anything, the update didt get rid people sitting under the map.
Sure the clips i got is not from now, but i dont see to play where there is cheaters, since clearly they get to keep playing even when you report them, so whats the point of keeping to report and record them?

All but one of these seem to be from over a year ago. Have anything more recent? You seem to have encountered a string of cheaters. Are you new to online games?

Here's how it works:

>Cheat Maker makes new cheat
>Cheaters buy cheats and use them
>You run into a string of cheaters
>Game Devs & Anti Cheat devs notice and collect data
>Game Devs & Anti Cheat devs patch the exploit
>You see no cheaters
-Return to top and repeat

If you recall, I specifically stated "I'm not saying it doesn't happen". You seem quite upset.

You're trying to argue that the game is totally infested but lack any sort of proof to back up your claim. To prove this statement as fact, you would need to provide indisputable proof of not only the players cheating but that it happens on a regular and constant interval.

People get so angry on the internet if someone contradicts their claims or has a differing opinion.

Also, for the record, "naive" isn't really being used correctly here. I'm "naive" for not encountering cheaters?

Its almost a bagde of honor to be called a cheater.

I might have misread your intent for the whole "saw a flying max this year" story.
Its a commenly used statement made, and it almost always ends up with the user claiming that cheaters are far and long between, sure there might not be many of them, but they are very consistent, since the NSO relaunch in 2021, cheaters have been way more commen play then befor 2021. Thats when the new wave started. Lets not forget our cheater who had access to admin tools and would spawn in ternimals and teleport tubes.

About the see no cheaters, we have seen cheaters on a weekendly bases since the NSO update.

Also lets not forget this gamed used the same anti cheat as conan exiles, and in that one cheating is far to commen. Battle eye...
