Glitching and abusing all kinds of stuff - yes, that's definitely an issue.
Be it minor stuff like LAs glitching up towers or trees where they are basically invincible and can place spawn thingies or really gamebreaking stuff like glitching into objects, so they can shoot everything around and decide the outcome of a battle.
If you also think about all those glitch areas and the countless stuckspots all over the map, it's quite shocking that the maps are still that badly optimised and still allow for so much abuse, when the game is already 8 years old.
It would be really nice if these players gets punished faster so that they don't ruin the entire game
Ban evasion is rather easie if you know how to.
Its a free game and its not the high BR's thats the cheaters it tend to be the low BR ones.
thats the clues i can give you.
The VS alone are riddled with Chinese cheaters on that server.
Every game seems to be getting ruined by cheats/hacks/exploits these days.
May as wrel just open the floodgates and use whatever "enhancement" you can get hold of and level the playing field, because i'm getting sick of it.
Develop it into the game ?
Not all servers are like them tho.
Fair game seems like an illusion.
It can be very frustrating, not knowing if the person who killed you are good or cheating.
If you dont know what good play looks like, it can be hard to tell cheating apart from skilled play.
The US servers are more frustrating, since alot of people who are not American play on them with higher latancy.
A tip here would be.
The low levels that does good is either:
1. Cheater.
2. A smurf.
The problem is planetside 2 is a very different game to any other FPS. If you expect to only die because of being out skilled or latency or hacks you're doing it wrong. Planetside 2's skill mostly lies in positioning, communication, perception and tactics, and only when those are about even does it come down to head clicking and crouch spamming.
Flagpoint captured and held by 5 teammates and even a tank. Two enemies rushing in, already spotted, so all guns were pointed in their direction. I was BELOW the entrance spot, the enemy jumped over my cover and instantly killed me (with his back facing me!) and two other teammates in a second, before I even aimed down my sights. He was killed shortly after and his teammate, too. We held the point and got the base, but still. The game is once again unplayable. I'm once again sitting around the spawnroom, firing guided missiles, because there is no chance to do anything else.
