Can I play with tr friend with nso?

I want to play with a friend who plays tr only, but i want to play nso. I dont have membership yet and I heard nso always allies with the weakest faction, which would mean I have a (theoretical) 33% chance of playing with tr. I want to know bevor getting membership.

It depends on the population of the continent your on not the server population.
You change factions as NSO when changing continent.

Which means I have to find a continent with tr as lowest population? Will I be forced to change faction when the population changes?

As previously stated, NSO plays with the lowest population. In the future, if you are a member, they plan for you to be able to choose a "home faction" for your NS Operative. They are also going to be overhauling the NS faction in the future as well.

If TR is the lowest pop (even by the smallest percent) then youll be on TR and will bassicaly be a TR until you goto a different continent. I have friends on all faction and play with them when im on that faction
