[SOLVED] KEYBOARD NOT WORKING!
For those of you experiencing problems on planeyside 2 where your keyboard is not working in game, the problem is DISCORD OVERLAY.

How to fix!
1) Go into Discord settings
2) Click on GAMES
3) Click on the overlay toggle icon (a monitor) for all planetside 2's you see. there may be more than one.

Relaunch game and it will work.

The discord overlay is most likely the cause. Disabling it should fix your issue.

help! Keyboard not working in game!!!
The trusty dell mechanical keyboard that I have used for a longtime isn't working in game :( Everything else works and I can CTRL + ESC out of the game or CTRL + Shift to open the steam in game browser. Anyone else having this issue? The keyboard hasn't taken any damage in any way, and is working 100%.

I'm having this issue as well. It seems like it kept my progress from the last time i logged in, as i expended all my ammunition and when i log back in i have none remaining. I can look around with the mouse, by any keyboard inputs seem to be disabled. Can't chat, look at map, redeploy, nothing. Not sure what is happening.

I saw that recommendation from February as well, and it didn't work either.

Idk if this helps, but i logged into another character i made and they were able to move around just fine.

Edit: After doing that and then returning to the character experiencing the issue, i was able to move again.
