How to use C4 ?

Why does C4 explode instantly after i throw it ?

normaly it takes 1-2 secounds untill you can detonate it.
I have 2 guesses
1: some one shot you but when you threw the C4 but someone shot the C4 instead making it expode
2: when you threw the C4 an infiltrator threw a EMP gernade and made it look like it exploded on you.
other then that i have no clue

Might be a latency issue, or a graphical glitch?

I assume you're not in warpgate area, c4 explodes instantly there

i concur, if your at the warpgate, or near a jump pad landing spot, maybe even an enemy spawn room, explosives will trigger instantly (cept nades). i make the mistake from time to time when im not paying attention to my footing. it is fun to float above a landing pad though and drop it when an enemy is zipping back over though, instant kaboom on your hopping MAX xD.

You might have the same problem I had a while back, I bound throw and detonate to left click.

Because youre at the warpgate. 6.5/10
