Macro Hackers

so tell is there honestly anyone playing this game without using macro's

basically makes the game a complete and utter waste of time, and don't come with the fast fingers crap, i realise the dev's are hopeless to stop it, but after coming back after a longish break it just worst than ever.

the worst are certen groups like the "Reapers" & "Russ Zerg" and i'm sure there are ones on the vanu side.

it just makes the game a joke

Using macros in a game like this just makes you worse on the long run. Unless your talking about something more like scripting where the game would do it automactially like if the macro automatically turned on your shield for you whenever you took damage wether you pressed F or not.

What people refer to here is a macro that lets you hit one key and it mimics pressing a series of keys at once. But make no mistake bots too are basically looping macros and they can be scripted to do many many things. Macro can click mouse buttons to hit different keys on keyboard to move your mouse to X Y or Z coords without lifting a finger. Some more advance than others as some can literally bot for you in games.

I didn't even know Macroing in this was that big of a thing. I dont get it either. The macros you've described dont even seem worth doing. It's not like any of those actions are difficult to do manually.

Does it even give the user an edge? Does the cloak♥♥♥♥♥♥♥cloak look any different from a player doing it normally (faster or glitchy)? Just out of curiosity, because I've not come across it or haven't noticed

I tested some macros back when the game was new.an ADAD macro ( nostromo n52 facilitated it), it worked real well in small scale actions, 1v1 BUT I felt dirty as I was beating guys who were just better players than me. In large scale stuff it was pretty useless as so much is going on that unless you have an ESP hack you will get killed regardless, unless you hide the whole time.


"WINNING" this game or any other game is enjoying the time spent. Any other metric is only used by REAL losers ( that's you Crunktanium) who get a sense of self worth from playing these empowermnet fantases.

I do know some top players of yesteryear admitted using macros for stuff like ADAD spam, and I myself have seen quite a lot of players quickly crouch and stand up in a suspiciosly rytthmic way when firing.

One of the reasons I never aim for the head but more-so the waist area.

Same here. And i perform surprisingly often headshotkills if i aim the belly. It´s not a question of yesteryear - it´s today, yesterday

Logitech keyboards allow you to do this using LUA. I've written some LUA code macros for PS2 it was to bind them to voice binds.

They are much more likely just playing with a bad ping causing them to warp a bit thanks to network extrapolation. You really don't need a macro for that.

as for macros, get over it they are easy to use and setup is stupid simple. if you dont like em then find a new genre or game, its not going away.

The only maco I can think that would be worth making currently is a macro to perfectly time burst fire the SAW, since I suck at controlling that weapon. Anything else would be too restrictive and cumbersome to activate right as I engage somone....

Edit: and even that macro would be a waste. better to learn to git gud
