So anybody else just quit when Hossin is the only Continent open?

So me and my friends in the game, whenever we see that Hossin is the only continent open we tend to go play something else. Anybody else feel this way about Hossin? Just now we both decided to go farm legendary weapons in Boarder Lands 2 instead of play Planetside 2 on Hossin.

Hossin is the best continent in the game, why would I log out. Indar and Esamir are reasons to quit playing, they should be removed ASAP. Though after all these years I don't have much hope.

Hossin is a light assaults wet dream. It's not that hossin is bad, it's just that your perspective is wrong.

I do the same when indar comes on. Because, indar, even it's name is boring.
It was the best day ever in PS2 history when it was locked for the first time.

As someone who mains infi's and LA's, mostly in that order, Hossins the best map in the game.

If you get a good spawn, indar is an infis wet dream too. Since infi is what i have maxed out, i think im 300 kills away from maxed medic. There is always someone trollololing people by getting a sundy way up a mountain to spawn and snipe from.

The only reason hossin is a light assaults wet dream, is that the damn bases are so convoluted, that you need the damn ambusher jumpjets to anywhere in a hurry. If you run on foot, it takes ages to get to the action.
It's a game in the shooter section, not a running simulator, ffs.
As it is now: I log on, i see hossin as the only continent open, i log off.
I play games to have fun, and hossin is not fun for me. ♥♥♥♥ hossin.

I don't see the point in arguing about wich is best when they all try to provide something different to different classes and vehicles. I think turning off the game for being exposed to a bit of variety seems somewhat strong of a reaction. Why is the increase of difficulty considered a bad thing? I always thought that was part of the fun when playing a game. And it may not even be a question of difficulty as to figuring out a different strategie for dealing with your environments, wich used to be also part of the fun.

I think i'm just trying to understand this mode of thought because if you do not enjoy a challenge, then i wouldn't know why you are playing this game.

I love all the maps, honestly, but I think they need a redesign and/or remix in some areas. But nevertheless, I'd never quit just because the only continent was Hossin or whatever.

@KND2501 You missunderstand, i don't dislike Hossin, because it's harder to play on it, i dislike it, because for me it's tedious to play on hossin. To much downtime just running around. That's not fun gameplay, that's just boring.
Also, and i understand that is completly subjective, Hossin is ugly as hell.
It's a dark green and brown swamp. I would want to spend my time in real life in such a place, why would i enjoy it in a game?

You wouldn't want to run head long in to an area being shelled by heavy artillery and get your body blown to pieces in real life and yet you're playing a game where that happens.

Hossin is great. It requires you to switch up your playstyles a bit.

QQ. This is a learn to play issue. Why should you walk anywhere when you have redeploy, instant action, flash's, harassers, ESF's etc??

I could perhaps deal with hossin if it got a major rework but as it currently stands it's just not a fun map.

The bases are poorly designed as to is the way of getting to the bases, so many times i get lost on that map.

Unfortunately there is a large section of the playerbase that thinks Hossin is bad. Why, I'll never understand. It's by far the best for infantry combat, and still very good for vehicle combat, according to some of the best vehicle players in the game. It just makes ♥♥♥♥♥♥ playstyles harder, I guess that's why the majority of players dislikes it.
