It's sad for how it could have added more people to any one part of the game.

It's not so sad (for the PS4 users) that, put simply and as was shown back when the dreamcast tried it, anyone with a controller would find themselves dying a lot more( than they normally do when playing this game) when someone with a mouse/keyboard came online.

Cross playing lolpad users and kbm users in an FPS is always always always a dumb idea.

Crossplay between PC and console just doesn't work in a FPS game. Even with aimassist for console players, they will still just get roflstomped by the PC crowd. Mouse and keyboard simply makes for faster turns and target acquiring.
