Is membership worth it?
I'm keen on getting it but the only thing that really bugs me is the fact that its in USD and when converted to my native currency the game is bloody expensive. The closest currency that is equivalent in conversion rate is the Brazilian Real and I kinda got dissapointed when I can't change regions to purchase the membership although I do understand why Daybreak did so. Will the membership ever be regionalized for my native country (Malaysia) and is it possible to switch payment regions in order to get a much reasonable price for the membership?

Thanks for replying. A few questions if you don't mind, have you ever bought the membership and for how long were you subscribe to it?

i had a years worth awhile back, back when i played a lot more frequently but since the player population dropped i havnt found membership all that worth it.

its truely worth it if you got a platoon to run with every day thats coordinated. otherwise the benefit is literally a gun or two each month your subbed.

Membership is meh but now you can play Mr Roboto if you want
They are kind fun but offer nothing new to veterans to the game

The membership nets you roughly 1500 certs per month if you log in every day, 500 DBG cash and you get a double EXP weekend every month (last weekend, 3 full days days). On top of that you get a permanent +50% EXP bonus that does stack with the double EXP weekend for 3 times more EXP (use your squad boosts from alerts during double EXP weekends only for even more stackage). Also, you get an extra daily deal and 10% off of ALL prices, which also stacks during sales and promotions.

The membership is worth it if you play regularly, and especially worth it if you intend to play all three factions - just log in on all of your chars once a day.

I have the membership.
I'm an old player that recently came back for the DX11 update.

I'm beginning to question why I have it.
Cert refund is bugged. Stuff I paid for is bugged or missing.

The parent company could care less about us. Only a couple guys are working on this game.
They're giving us the middle finger by putting funds into another "me too" Battle Royal which they boast about having MORE features than PS2

The only thread that keeps me in membership at this moment is that I also play DC Universe.
If it was just this game, or DC Universe, I wouldn't bother. Just isn't enough there.

The membership is ok for the server waiting list. I was like 50/50 the other day. Today is wasn't bad, 4/5 people, about 5 minute wait at the most. I just buy the DB cash from time to time for something I really want or cosmetics. Progress is horribly slow either way. I have about 270hrs and haven't unlocked very much at all.

If you want to support the game and dev's the membership or db cash is there. I have spent about $40 on this game and played going on 300hrs. The update is great, thousands of people are playing, servers are tanking. So they may use that money to buy new servers. Because I was on my server with 33 ping and 70-100 server latency. The lag was pretty bad and the servers crashed 3 times while I was playing today.

If you play a lot (30h+ each month) , it's the best value you can get if you were planning to spend money either way.

Agreed the 50% XP boost alone is enough to justify the cost. Found that out when I spent 10K certs for ASP.

Don't know just yet. I bought a 1-month membership because the game is damn good fun and I felt like giving back to the devs for it. My cert collection rate has definitely skyrocketed, but I don't know yet if I'll be playing regularly enough to justify continuing to pay for it.

The new robots look cool and that's about it. Good idea for balancing populations, not a lot there for a membership only faction.

I'm coming up on a year with it, and I'll mirror what several others have said: If you play the game often, then yes, it is worth it. The various EXP boosts, discounts, and members-only cosmetics are great, the double exp weekends are a blast, etc.

If you don't play the game often, like only a couple times in a week, if at all, then no. If you're not actively using it, and gaining the benefits of it, then it would be more cost effective, for you, to avoid it.

Considering it is one of the few memberships that include about 4 MMORPGS with benefits. It is way better money to content worth then most other kinds of game memberships current to date.

But it all depends on what you like and put worth in. Me thinking it is not a bad deal because I actively enjoy 3 MMORPGS with one membership doesn't mean you will like it.

In this game it'll give you a xp boost + resource boost, monthly double xp events, which does boost your cert rate alot. Also monthly 500 Daybreak cash, which does amount up, with a few months giving enough to dress up your character or vehicle to hearths content. Also the membership gives 10% off on all items in shop that cost DBC.

Also a small cert handout daily, not much worth for a veteran player, but as a beginner, it'll help a bit.

Recently giving also acces to an extra faction that helps the underdogs (kinda ment as elites, thus)

Honestly it seems to me the game is in maintenance mode , they wont add any major content , and just have small updates here and there with some hype to breathe some life into the game to keep revenue coming in.

Converting currency isn't easy, entire teams of currency traders ♥♥♥♥ it up every minute. let alone a bunch of devs with no financial experience.
Better to just use a standard currency and let the banks decide its value. It doesn't matter what currency you use it will still cost the same.

IMO premium is rly only useful if you want to powerfarm certs or something or play the new android mercs.
