MGR-L1 Promise AE?
Chose a weapon for a heavy assault by KDR. Found MGR-L1 Promise AE (1.876). Decided that apparently this weapon is worth buying, but I do not have it on sale. There is only MGR-L1 Promise with KDR 1.248.

Questions.

What is the modification of the AE?
Why do standard Promise have such a low KDR?

There is no difference between the AE version of the promise. The only difference is that one is available to everyone through certs and the other is from an anniversary bundle. That means that only paying players can use it and paying players generally have played the game longer and are better. You can use the standard promise and it'll be exactly the same

I would like to find a weapon for the NC to respond to "Betelgeuse". It's really too powerful weapon.

Read on forums. If anyone's interested...
For NC.

In combat at close and medium distances a good option Anchor (GD-22S cheapest option. Not so powerful, but not bad).
EM6 for medium.
For medium and long Gauss SAW.
Promise to control groups of enemies, not for 1 on 1.

Important thing to note about the Promise: Unlike every other weapon in the game, it get's more accurate the longer you fire it, to a certain point of course. Long bursts and sustained fire will serve you better than short bursts.

In a 1v1 its a downgrade from the orion, it is just great at farming low skill opponents

No, it doesn't get more accurate, each shot just recoils less then the previous one.

Between the recoil scaling and the fixed CoF, yes, it is an overall more accurate weapon under sustained fire.

The Promise is a dedicated point hold LMG to the core. It's entire design premise is to be able to be able to point it at a door, hall, rock, etc... and hose it down with accurate rapid fire. It's more effective at short-medium range where you can rely on your recoil control over the CoF Bloom to be able to hit targets.

Im about halfway through the auraxium for the promise and it's one of the most fun guns I've ever used.

Becoming more accurate and stopping to become less accurate are different things.

According to the patch notes the frame rate drops when using Doku LMGs and the HA shield should be fixed.

The Promise is as overpowered as any VS weapon but the only bad side of it is if you use it with any Heavy Shield ability, your FPS will drop by atleast 20 frames. If you come up to any troubled NC not knowing to find a good Heavy weapon (since the others are useless) tell them to get the Promise, it'll make them stay in the faction a little while longer.
Most of the VS guns got nerfed hard into oblivion. have been this way for a very long time.
If you become good with the Promise its going to be less fun playing other factions for nothing is like the Promise :lunar2019laughingpig:
