In combat at close and medium distances a good option Anchor (GD-22S cheapest option. Not so powerful, but not bad).
EM6 for medium.
For medium and long Gauss SAW.
Promise to control groups of enemies, not for 1 on 1.

The Promise is a dedicated point hold LMG to the core. It's entire design premise is to be able to be able to point it at a door, hall, rock, etc... and hose it down with accurate rapid fire. It's more effective at short-medium range where you can rely on your recoil control over the CoF Bloom to be able to hit targets.
According to the patch notes the frame rate drops when using Doku LMGs and the HA shield should be fixed.
If you become good with the Promise its going to be less fun playing other factions for nothing is like the Promise
