Max loadout.
Anyone got some tips on what equips to run together dependant on situation? been tryina figure out what to buy for my MAX, help would be appreciated ^^ (NC use)

NC maxes are tough to call for, a lot of what made them a force to be reckoned with got stripped from em. they still function quite well though. just thought i'd mention that before you decide to invest in them at all.

the shotgun weapons for NC maxes took a huge hit so their primary means of anti infantry had its available ranges vastly reduced now that they cannot use slug rounds i think it was.

there are still some mid to long range options like the NS gorgon, but its widely innaccurate and more for shooting at vehicles than infantry. great weapon to have when your sittin in the back seat of a harrasser though. not so much for pushing or defending a biolab.

TR are pretty good anti infantry in their selection of weapons, you've got anywhere from longer range accuracy mercy, to twice the mag capacity but half the accuracy mutilators for your various ranges, (you can have both and pretty much endlessly stream bullets, is fun if your lazy and looking down a hallway.) they also have grenade launchers and rocket launchers that are direct fire and decent ranges for both. grenade is meant for infantry but can harm vehicles as well. their ability is to lock their feet in place for a slight boost in velocity and fire rate, but this locks your maximum aiming angle to like a 120 degree cone in front of you and you cannot move till you disengage the function. but it gives us the best max for using NS bursters and supression in general.

VS i only have experience in dying too but they are pretty well balanced, decent anti vehicle and infantry weaponry, decent skill curve on em, i cant for the life of me remember what their ability does anymore. im used to when it made them weaker but they dolled out more damage, i think its different now. and as for weapon names i dont know em.

NC maxes still have their role to play though, with their shield ability they can become instant cover for a doorway or a push forward, they can use this to get in better range for their shotguns which, despite not having slug rounds, still hurt a lot at close range. 1 pull of the trigger on eacha rm and it still dies.

NC maxes use to be the stronges so no the other factions didt take a hit.

Pretty much the only NC max weapons that are still viable (anti infantry guns, that is), are the Hacksaw and the Scattercannon. Everything else either lacks the range or the burst DPS to kill people properly.

Of those, I'd suggest the Scattercannon since it's the standard gun, and you'll only need to buy one of them to make an anti infantry max.

hm, guess i could try out the TR maxes, like the idea of the lockdown but the shield was quite fun to use on NC maxes, didnt know they had one until yesterday when i lookt at the abilitys, (auto repair felt like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke after i tried the shield) but thnx for the tips i will see if i find smth

Forgot to ask this thoughh, what suit armor is like the "standard" i do realise they do kinda depend on the situation mostly but what do u end up running the most?
